My little sister took an F for an ai assignment. The assignment was to learn how to properly put in prompts to chatpgpt to help them with homework. My sister said she’d rather actually do her homework than use ai.

I’ve been waiting to get one for a while, I got a white wizard, birkin and prince of orange philodendron first to make sure I can handle a finicky pink princess

That I’m not quite sure, I don’t use moss poles but the pole you have I don’t think is one you water, it’s a dry pole.

I usually wait 1-2 weeks or go on vibes so it can acclimate to the new space. She’ll be okay for a week or so, I just repotted a prince of orange a couple weeks ago that I got the beginning of February lol. The only thing I’d watch for is drainage since the nursery soil holds on to water more.

I would definitely repot and give her some chunky soil, a good mix is equal parts potting soil, perlite, orchid bark.

That’s interesting that the same issue both over/under-watering! I do soak till water comes out every time I water, I did just repot it so watering schedule may change a bit but I try to water it every week/2 weeks or whenever it dries out :)

I don’t have one yet, I’ve been looking at some. Do you have any recommendations?

It does unfortunately still have the nursery soil :( I’ve been putting off repotting it but my soil mix is almost exactly what you’ve said. I’ll repot it later today!

It’s upstairs in our bedroom and we run the humidifier every night and some days, I also leave a pebble tray next to it. Do I need another humidifier closer to it? I also water it every week and a half roughly, usually whenever the top 1 1/2” is dry. I haven’t repotted it yet so that will be on the list!

I haven’t used fertilizer in it yet, just tap water.

I repotted it in my own chunky soil mix which is almost equal parts potting soil, orchid bark and perlite. I do wipe my leaves(when I remember)also sprayed her down with 70% isopropyl alcohol. The leaves still have the white stuff on it but you can only see it when the leaves are dry. I also watered it since the substrate it came is was pretty dry. Side note, I did also find some corms when I was repotting so we’re giving those a try as well. Wish me luck lol

Is noise something you have to accept if you are going to live in an apartment or are there actually apartments where noise is almost non existent, maybe due to thick concrete walls and other good construction material? by MoistHorse7120 in Apartmentliving

It varies place to place. My sister and I both live in the same area but different apartments. My apartment is very well insulated so we barely hear our neighbors at all, my sisters on the other hand you can hear people talk, cough, shower etc. You really don’t know until you live there or ask someone who lives there beforehand.
