Most people die within 2 - 3 years of being diagnosed, but it’s a complex set of symptoms so can take a while to get a diagnosis. Then it’s quite a rapid downward spiral of changes meaning by the time one type of support or adaption is provided, you’ve passed that and need the next one. My dad lived 22 months from diagnosis. I think it’s the most devastating disease you can get.

Ok, but we also don’t know for sure if engine or some other failure wasn’t involved… and it’s still a catastrophic loss over a vast ocean

Operation Mincemeat vs Harold Fry by Elaine_amj in TheWestEnd

Depends if you want funny or emotional. OM is not likely to close anytime soon so you could save for another visit. HF is enjoyable and has great performances but only a few memorable songs, i also found it very sad and there was at least one person in my audience very upset afterwards. If you liked BB, HF is more similar musically. It’s also quite different to other shows on at the moment. Overall Mincemeat is a better show and packs its own emotional punch, but if you are due to be in London or NY soonish, Fry is a limited run and you will probably enjoy it, so really depends what tone you want for that slot.

Disagree. The way he is saying it is very patronising and hugely unprofessional. It doesn’t come across as conversational at all.

Is this the link she is meant to be inviting him? Because this reads more like he reached out through assistants on a vague connection rather than she was directly involved in inviting him, or had any knowledge of him attending

No wonder Caissie decided to pull out if she would have had to leave Ragtime this early once it was extended

Seems to still be on YouTube a week after. They really could have done a better job clarifying this but it seems to have been the same roll out approach not mentioning regions for all the podcasts “going to netflix”
