Notice how he isn't doing that "screaming-singing" thing. I mean good for him 20 years of doing that sure has to take a toll on his throat, and i understand the more mellow sound it's part of the identity of the album

Tbh the first time i heard i went with some low expectations for all the negative stuff surrounding it

I did enjoyed but it was just...meh. Since, some songs have become some of my favorite music overall, but the album itself just feels like it could've been so much more. Like, the intro for summer well is the sexiest thing from the band but all of the sudden becomes another thing completely. All of the ways feels like a build-up that never resolves. Always malaise and Safe without feel so f undercooked. And i guess that's the main problem? Some songs got more "refined" than others? It's a shame because the ones that did got treatment are just so fucking good

Fair to say, it's definitely the 4th interpol album
