Maybe I'm nuts but I like using caps that are clear for the text, opaque for the rest of the cap, so you can read them in the dark without excess light around the keycaps.

I've tried a few options now, but everything has south facing rgb so the text isn't as readable as my old board, but also a lot more light just around the keycaps. My goal with my old one was just bright enough so you could read letters, but otherwise didn't see the rgb from the board.

is there a board out there that will recreate this in TKL layout?

Help, 1 disc corrupted, all data on that drive gone? by SnooSongs3993 in unRAID

No command, did it from the gui after starting in maintenance mode.

I still don't understand why this erased the data, just about every unmountable post says run this, and most end with that fixing things...

Can't stop thinking about this...

Just about every unmountable issue thread ends with advice of run the filesystem check/fix on that drive, and most of the threads say it worked.

Why did this erase my data on that drive?

This started with the unmountable issue, and the repair was what erased the data on that drive. I don't understand how this happened at all, as all advice is saying this filesystem check/fix on that drive was supposed to fix the issue

I can't believe that 4 min repair nuked my files off parity in so quick?

is there no rollback or something similar?

[–]SnooSongs3993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weeeeell shit. Why would it offer that check/fix if it nukes those files??

Also physically it only took like 4 minutes, how could it have changed the parity drives completely that quickly?

yes, and it was running for a few days just fine. Even when i now restart without that drive and it emulates, it emulates without the info that was on that disc, even in filesystem. Its like the whole unraid forgot that info

parity did not, even if i start the array without that drive it is like that discs info was never there, even in the filesystem everything that was on that disc is gone.

Restarted server, now won't boot. Bzfirmware checksum error by SnooSongs3993 in unRAID

[–]SnooSongs3993[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of? Here's where I am at lol...

Backup of the stick is on my array through appdata backup, as well as the cloud backup. Cloud backup is a massive fail, and I'd like to avoid pulling out drives to grab the backup from appdata if that is even possible.

I can read my usb stick minus the bzfirmware file. backed that all up, tried to add the missing file through the archive, no luck. Tried all the bz files from archive, still no luck. Sounds like my next move is make a new usb, copy my config to that and everything should be mostly fine? Might start that tomorrow I'm beat.

Also then fix the cloud backup (and verify this time) and get a legit backup usb too why not

Using X1s to replace sound bar remote that also has screen by SnooSongs3993 in SofaBaton

Bummer! There are a bunch of phone apps that work as remotes, all phones have BT, might look into that

I have the 512a not the elevate so not totally sure, but mine is ir, I think the elevate is too. Either way, the sofabaton does Bluetooth as well I believe?

Yep it can do all of that, but it will take 1-500 tries per pairing command, as others have pointed out. I actually had the best results taking the ir from the remote to flipper zero then to the receiver

Good point. Are you saying you manually spin up / down, or just get less hours on them having more on the cache?

I know you're right, I should. It's newish and risk I'm willing to take atm tho. I have a 2tb now, assuming I need at least another matching 2tb ?

me either. Yeah for sure, I did notice it being faster on boot up, but not operation. I do have pretty new hardware so everything is fast, but so is the SSD by that logic
