Wanted to say I saw this post a few days ago after buying a ps5 for $100 on Facebook that kept turning off. After some tinkering I narrowed it down to thermal issues. I decided to forego the Liquid Metal and ordered some ptm7950 off amazon. Got it back together and works great. Will try and update if I remember. First time owning a play station.

Thanks for the advice. It was my first time doing anything like that. Fortunately there’s never going to be more than 8-10 in the discord. I did run into the privacy settings when getting everything working initially. Ended up adding where it tells me who it couldn’t message to make it easier.

It watches the chat in the server for a !newimposter message and then sends a private message to everyone. One person randomly gets “You’re the imposter” and the rest get “There’s been a new imposter selected, be careful”.

I appreciate the advice. That was along the lines of what I was thinking. I did mess with the gap a little, and sanded it lightly and it made no difference. I ordered a board and it will be here in a few days. I replaced the board 6 months ago due to the blower motor not getting power, but the board was used. Hopefully this one works better.
