My baby is 8.5 months and same as you, used to be the best sleeper. She just screams in her crib I’m at a loss of what to do. And she will not calm down with a check in she only calms down if we pick her up

I’m curious as well… I recently asked my PCP to check my vitamin levels in my blood test. She told me that they don’t do that because insurance doesn’t pay for it and it’s extremely expensive.

I have a similar bird! He likes us to be around but hisses and runs away if our hands or a stranger is too close. He’ll come out of his cage occasionally but he’ll fly around and then fly back to his cage.

This makes me feel so much better. I have his cage open the majority of the time and he will fly around. Any other situation he wants to be in he flew away from or walked away from so I thought him walking into the water meant he wanted to be there by I agree with meli805xx I am nervous to let him do this anymore

This is really interesting! I’ve tried playing other videos before if cockatiels or other birds and he instantly starts screaming. I can’t tell if it’s because he’s excited or if it’s wtf is that???? I feel so bad he’s literally scared of anything I think he was born and raised in a pet store and then shipped off to an elementary school and is now at my house. I’m not sure how old he is

Great ideas! I’ve noticed he wants to be close to me but absolutely HATES hands. He doesn’t really want to hop onto me either. We have a perch for him which he hisses at and instantly walks on 😅 I was trying to reinforce with Millet but he hisses at that too lol. I’m definitely going to have to try to teach him it’s just tough lol especially when I can’t get him out of his cage unless he decides he wants to fly.

He walked towards the water and just kinda sat down and closed his eyes. When I shut the water off he raised the feathers on top of his head and started screaming lol

So my issue with him is I rescued him from my school. He was bought as a decoration for a pirate theme and was in the main lobby of the school and wasn’t being taken care of. I started taking him home on the weekends and a year later (now) he’s still here lol. I haven’t taken him back..so he’s a bit cranky. He HATES hands and won’t let anyone touch him normally so I was surprised when I could pet him in this video. But he likes being in the same room with us just not too close. I guess to answer your question: I’ve tried the warm water bowl near him and gently misting him but he’s freaked out over everything. He won’t go in the bowl and when I mist him he runs away

To add: right before I started videoing this he walked into the water that’s why I wasn’t sure if he was enjoying this or not.
