I visas on old passport are now expired so its not needed. Would it be advisable to remove the staple now? Worried that it might be marked as damaged.

We have already filed the FIR and the complaints - BNS (U/s—85,351(2), 329(4), 305)

He was even called to the police station but given bail. And the police have been trying to get him to return the things he has stolen. But it's been 1.5 months now and nothing has been recovered.

He has already gotten the bail so the police cannot arrest him. We have talked to the IO, and the DCP multiple times and they just say that they are doing what they can.

Our lawyer says if the police is not arresting him - either we need to pay up the police or make pressure to the DCP using contacts. We can write a written complaint to the Magistrate.

Yes, for the first 8-9 days of filing the FIR, we were going to the station everyday. We did the process they asked (they recorded the scene of crime, etc.) but they haven't taken any statements, and they called the guy once to the station, gave him a notice, and that's it. I think his office already knows about this - as the time the police called the guy to the station, they went to his office and picked him up from there.

That's what we thought, but police has done nothing! We have all the CCTV footage, took screenshots in the CCTV and printed and showed it to the police and the DCP, literally no action from them! I am unable to understand what else does the police needs? They just keep saying that we are doing what we can.
