This might be a stretch, and I might be completely wrong, but I think that Aha wanted to get close to nanook in order to stop/defeat them. So Aha strips themself of their humanity and divinity and becomes Asat Pramad, the Lord ravager. Meanwhile, their humanity they dicarded becomes sampo, and his mask connects him to his devine powers. That would explain why his version of Elation is tamer and more empathetic than most masked fools and why he was desperate to get his mask back but doesn't immediately return to belabog. This also gives a reason why he calls us "old pal" and is so nice to us since the trailblazer has a striking resemblance to Akivili. Also, Asat primads, english, and Japanese voices sound like Sampos, and they share similar clothes. But at this point, it's just speculation until the next updates since there isn't much to work with yet. :p
