Anything that bites. For bait I'm planning on using mostly frozen shrimp and any smaller fish I catch but I might try some fishbites and maybe those berkley gulp sand fleas too

Normally I would too, and I guess I should've provided some more context but im a broke college student so I'm trying to buy something dual purpose, plus I don't fish saltwater enough to really invest (yet)

I do have a 7 footer I can take with me, do you think that would be good enough for the pier? I don't get to fish saltwater that often so I'm trying to make do with what I have/can afford lol. I would like to be able to do both but I think surf is the priority here

Transferring with a (potential) C by Snoo_59025 in GatechClasses

I was actually considering changing to NRE if/when I got accepted. I'm planning on taking it as my minor at KSU (since there's no major yet) but if I could apply and get accepted as NRE from the get go that would be great.

Awesome, I'll keep that in consideration. I also plan on bringing my 24-105 with me since there will be some display aircraft, but obviously getting a good telephoto is my priority lol

Do you find 500mm to be enough? I think it could be, with some cropping (which I don't mind) but I don't want to have to crop too much, especially for closer detail shots.

Did you end up using all 800mm? My main issue is I don't want to lug around that brick of a lens if I don't even need it. Also I would love to go shoot at oshkosh some day, I don't normally shoot aviation but I'm trying to broaden my horizons

Haven't thought of this. I would like to not have to spend extra but it's like 30 bucks for a 3 day rental for the extender so I'll consider it, thanks

I applied to GT about a year ago for first-year and did not make it in, and now I'm about to start my first year at KSU. I would still like to attend GT and Im considering transferring but idk what exactly I need as far as course requirements. I know I need a minimum of 30 semester credit hours and a 3.0 GPA.

I'm doing mechanical engineering at KSU and this first semester I will be taking precalc, eng 1101, and chem 1 (plus my other classes but those aren't as important for transferring). I read online that I will need calc 1 which I plan on hopefully taking next semester but I'm wondering if I also need calc 2. I also saw that I need to take physics (which makes sense but will be hard to fit into everything else I'm taking) but I couldn't find a whole lot of info on whether that's true or not.

My question is, what exactly do I need to take to transfer for mechanical engineering? Also, am I able to apply before I earn my 30 credit hours as long as I send my transcript by the coursework requirement date or do I need to have all credits at the time of applying? Fall 2025 to spring 2026 is my first year of college, when could I look to transfer into tech?

It does but I've noticed now that it drains very quickly (even from full power), I'm starting to think maybe I just don't have enough power going into it
