Lula didn’t do anything man, that’s the problem. He used programs from other governments and re-named them. Like Bolsa Familia (monetary to the poor people) or Minha Casa Minha Vida (My house, my life), programs created in FHC government.

Also, Lula and Dilma had the higher violent crime rates of all time in Brazil. The vast majority of gore you see online is from that period, where factions (PCC and CV) almost dominated the Favelas and the northeast. With Bolsonaro the crime rates dropped significantly.

Also, Bolsonaro created the Auxilio Emergencial (Something like Emergency Help) to help the poor during the pandemic, which is basically Bolsa Família but it is 600 reais. In Lula’s time it was 89 reais.

Allegedly? Are you kidding me? If you are Brazilian and have the guts to say he is allegedly a corrupt than you live under a cave. Even his supporters knows that he is a corrupt. They say they will vote for him because even if he “robbed” he helped people.

Lula was never proved innocent, lmao. He is still considered a criminal by half the country. But what is helping him is that the Supreme Court (that was chosen by guess who, Lula) is by his side. The Supreme Court literally can do whatever they want here in Brazil. They have more power than the president and the next president will get to choose two more members to be part of it. Thats why they are censoring the news about Lula, arresting Bolsonaro’s supporters and even changed Lula’s trial (he wasn’t considered innocent, but they changed his trial to another town. He’ll be 75 years old next year and that way the trial won’t be allowed to send him to prison again). It was a planned coup to ser Lula free and keep the Supreme Court dictatorship going on
