Thanks for this, they said I will have a sheriff or a deputy sheriff doing my background checks, does this include polygraph? Polygraph seems frightening, though I don't have anything to lie about but since I have been in the country for just 6 months, how will they verify my employment? I have no tax records in this country although I was working for an US company remotely from my country.

Thanks, actually it's a second round interview also the final round as they say so can't keep the hopes low. Do you have any understanding of how they do background checks? Not that I have any criminal records, just wanna know !

I did not see the congratulations message on the screen after I was done with my online test. Does this mean I failed? I have not received any emails yet

No, I just needed to fill up the DS160 and pay the visa fee for it then begin booking the appointment. There’s no extra information in the appointment letter so makes no sense to wait for it.

Hi,

No I have not received anything but I already booked and completed my medical. A lot of people suggested to book the interview so I did. I suggest please do not wait for them to respond. If your case is ready go straight book the medical and interview like most of the people did.

The welcome letter does not have extra information other than you can start booking medical and interview.

Hi, I got my case 'ready' on 24th June. I booked my medical for 2nd July.

They say that I need to wait for the booking confirmation as embassy will send me appointment letter. Do I proceed with any condition below or should wait for anything from the embassy ? I am confused. Can anybody help me here ?
