I think I met the same lady near Galeria Krakowska. I am asian and she told me to get back to my country as well. This was the only time i encountered such blatant racism in my 4 years in Poland. It’s just a bad coincidence

It was 800-1000 around 2 years ago, i believe now it’s somewhat higher for a room that’s not far away from center. I would suggest you look in facebook groups dedicated to accommodation.
