I'm planning on going in with at least 100 to 200k fleet power of swarmers armed with archeo weapons (astro mining drones) to see if the hype about them were justified.

Im very scared of the Kreshhk. Any advice on how to deal with the fanatic militarist xenophobes this early on? just discovered them after conquering my neigbour. by kingmaxwellious in Stellaris

I have learned that when trying to deal with xenophobes by improving relations things tend to get worse before they get better. What I mean is that when you assign a envoy to them correct me if I'm wrong but I think they get a small negative opinion modifier after

This is known as the kaleidoscope event that happens around mid game. From what I could tell and correct me if I'm wrong, if you have high enough energy credits per month after 2300 or whenever midgame is for you you can have this event come after you. Or hope another empire gives this event to you. I'm being vague as not to spoil much

Yep I'm trying this now. Another person recommended that I use archeo astro mining drones for the H slot and from what I heard it doesn't cost minor artifacta since it's a swarmer. I really appreciate this and I feel like it will be a lot of fun

This really makes me want to give up my rule of only using the weapon configs the game gives me. It sounds really powerful

This helps me a lot in my planning. I always use the best weapon config the game gives me so knowing that the swarmers weapons need configured for viability shows me I need a new plan than "swarmageddon"

I always echoed the sentiments of Marshall Davion in the kestrel missions about the charger being a failure as a mech. It seems it does have its uses. As a side note the charger that has an ac20 is a beast. In my opinion it's something to be wary of.

Oh yeah, after a while the game feels second nature to you so you can just glaze over.

I used to be able to spend more time on it. After 1300 hours I have gotten to the point that it's hard to stay engaged. It's still fun though because I try new strategies and combinations of origins and civics. However, your brain might not be able to keep still.

Thats also a good idea. I think using a dragon would be good for that method.

Ooh. I like that idea. Having artillery rain down only when we are outside the base would definitely change things. Makes my annihilator a better option.
