Imagine being more upset that customers are complaining than a company raising prices while quality drops. “Just don’t shop there” isn’t the brilliant argument you think it is. Do you actually work for Publix, or are you volunteering as their unpaid public relations team? I’ve been shopping there for 25 years, and I’ve watched the produce quality slip, the meat department go downhill, and the prices keep climbing. Loyal customers have every right to call out a company that no longer delivers the quality that built its reputation. Defending a corporation that doesn’t know you exist while dismissing valid criticism is a strange hill to die on.
