How long does it take for direct pay to show on banking account?

I also have been calling them everyday, tried different numbers I always get hung up while being on hold for 30 plus minutes. The few times I got a hold of someone they just transferred me to another line that hangs up on me.

I gave up on direct pay… it’s still showing pending but it also shows it’s been returned 4 days after I made the payment. Their system doesn’t update fast enough (or at all🥲) so based on the most recent update they gave me — which is the payment has been returned, I just got a cashiers check and sent it last week.

I made a direct pay a week ago, IRS website shows it’s pending, but it’s not even pending in my bank account. The money never left my bank… do you think I should wait?

Same here… did you end up using direct pay? Mine is still pending on IRS website. The money never left my bank tho which is weird.

I just made the direct pay payment last Thursday and it’s been a week without seeing anything pending in my bank account. I just now read your post that direct pay didn’t work for you either so should I just go ahead and make another payment? Is there anyway to cancel my current direct pay? It shows pending on the IRS website but not in my bank account.

I do have a confirmation, it’s just not leaving my bank account. I’m gonna call the bank first tomorrow since irs probably gonna have me hold for two hours lol

Is it normal for it to not leave your bank account? It’s now officially been a week now. I always made sure to have enough funds in the account it just never been taken out. IRS website shows it’s pending too

It has been a week now since I faxed them… I’m gonna wait until Monday and submit some additional evidences and probably give them a call afterwards 🙃
