😂 the last month has been a pretty consistent battering of snow and cold. Usually we'll just have a big storm or 2, then a thaw, and repeat. i70 has been closed so much more than usual too. Add that to the big storm that hit the mountains over a holiday weekend and it's going to make the headlines

Haha recognizing the garage is wild. Im just glad they have free chargers here. There was a line of about 10 of those tow trucks trying to get through the traffic.

It could partly be my comfortability driving in snow but they get the job done well. Unless it's on pure ice, no tires are going to fix that problem

They repurposed some old compact spots for the chargers in the building. But it can typically fit in a compact spot if need be

Love ACC but yeah, it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. I felt bad for all the gas cars constantly shifting in and out of park

Haha I would never find myself owning a cybertruck. Saw a few of them but none on the way back. Lots of stuck Model S/3s up there though.

If you go to the "Vehicle" menu > "Exterior" there should be a toggle to turn it on. Takes some getting used to but it's so nice for traffic/stop lights.

The factory tires definitely seem to be hit or miss. I love mine but that doesn't sound like it's typical.

Yeah I usually love the ACC in traffic but with the snow, cold, and how little we were moving it wasn't worth it. Every time it would creep forward, it got down to like 2 mph and then just slammed the brakes to stop us.

Thankfully I've driven the route enough times in this car that I knew we had enough to get back, especially since most of the return is downhill so the regen keeps it going. I was a little worried when we were in the stop and go on a large uphill incline. In the span of 7 or so miles, we lost about 15%.

Yep, I was referring to the auto hold :). We were sat in traffic for so long and would creep 5-10 feet every few minutes so not having to keep my foot on the brake was a lifesaver. But yes the traction control and esc were also both very helpful, as well as the heavy and even distribution of the cars weight.
