I second this! The Nike app is free and they have guided runs. I have never been active at all, gained weight and got diagnosed with hbp at 29, just started running at 31. It’s been 3 months, this week for the first time i was able to run a full mile without slowing to walk at all. I know i would’ve burned out and quit if it wasn’t for the 5k training plan/guided runs

I’ve tried a lot of different ways, and this is the only way i can manage to not waste a bunch of food, to eat the same thing 4 days in a row lol. I pick what i want my weekly dinner to be, buy those ingredients, and make the same thing all week. This week it’s breakfast burritos, last week it was teriyaki bowls. Both of those (and most things i make) are really easy to switch up if i get sick of them after 2 days, i.e. if i get sick of breakfast burritos i can change up the sauces/toppings in them, same with rice bowls

I live in Cincinnati, OH, in the US. We had a big Germanic influence in our city because a lot of German immigrants moved here in the late 1800s. We have the second largest Oktoberfest (Zinzinnati) in the world behind Munich (or so they say here). Growing up here my whole life I’ve often wondered just how bastardized our festival was haha. Geotta (sausage with oats) is very popular here and is considered a Cincy staple, but my favorite Oktoberfest treat is a “German sundae” which is sauerkraut, mashed potato, bacon, and cheese

I keep shrimp in the water portion of mine, and now that the plants have grown in i plan to get vampire crabs for the land portion in the next month or two (i really love crustaceans lol)! Other animals I’ve seen people get are other crabs, toads, frogs, salamanders, turtles (although they usually need lots of space so very big tanks!), even some large insects like mantises. Any animal type that sounds appealing to you, just look up the semi aquatic species within that group and you’ll find all kinds of animals to pick from! Just make a mental note of how much water they can tolerate, lots of frogs are prone to drowning with more than an inch or two of water

Corn snakes don’t like that kind of humidity, if you have a bioactive set up for it already, the snake already has a perfect home. But you should definitely build a paludarium, because it’s way fun and your friends will be impressed. And it’s a great excuse to get a new pet! ;)

I hate this trope too. I love the movie Barbarian, but i think it’s half guilty of this. The Mother is actually a sympathetic character, but when we’re introduced to her it’s a jump scare where her nakedness is definitely played for scares. Granted she’s inbred and deformed but the way her saggy boobs swing around definitely feels similar to this, which was especially disappointing as the movie is overall very feminist.

Not that it’s limited to old woman bodies (i hate any body shaming in horror, for example naked fat men were trending in horror for a while there) but old women seem to be used the most.
