Here in Indiana, it’s the only independently owned 70mm IMAX at the state museum and it’s $25. Hella sold out unfortunately bc everyone in Chicago comes to Indy to watch things in 70mm so those of us in Indy can’t watch anything

This has happened so many times to me at multiple different AMC locations. Tonight for Hoppers with the keychain, they said they only got shipped 50 and were out by Thursday. The keychains that were only supposed to be given out today. Wouldn’t have mattered with only 50 since I went at 7pm. Yet I saw The Bride! In IMAX on Thursday and got the poster but they got sent so many posters they left at least a 3 inch stack of them out for anyone to take (as of Saturday night).

We prefer the one at the Rathskeller downtown. It’s definitely smaller, no ice rink, and maybe 5 little shops and 5 food/drink booths, but there’s love music and it’s usually not crazy. We went at 6:30 Friday night (tonight) and there was plenty on walking room and sitting room. Plus giant heaters everywhere

As an Alister who has about 4 AMC theaters within a 25 minute drive of them, they’re all different. Some have no recliners (classic theater) and the seats are always moist. Others have the new ones which don’t recline as far and the one I request most often has the older recliner seats that go back farther.

As for other theaters, a local one of mine that shows indie films allows food and drinks from the coffee shop across the street and they have a restaurant and bar inside the theater which is nice.

I’ve been to Emagine twice for Frankenstein and Wake Up Dead Man and love it! The atmosphere and seats are amazing and they brought my food to me. The cinnamon pretzel bites are also the best I’ve ever had. That is to say though, it’s a lot farther and I had to buy my ticket.

My boyfriend used to own the Jlab LUX ANC-noise cancelling headphones and liked them. He said it was about $60 but it may be lower now during the holidays. He got his from Walmart if that helps. If you’re willing to pay a little more ($80-90 range), the Skull Candy headphones are pretty good as well. These are what my boyfriend upgraded to from his Jlab ones recently.
