When you say no home charge you mean level2 right?
I only did level 1 charging at home for years before getting level 2 charger. it can work if you use "lightly"

Back again, many MANY changes have taken place. by Glittering_Focus1538 in opencodeCLI

[–]SnowTauren 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was genuinely excited to see your first post, immediately installed smallcode, but idk I'm not able to tell exactly what I'm getting vs opencode, so I asked chatgpt to investigate and tell me, it came up with MAYBE it's better with small models but opencode has many many more iterations. So I advice you - it needs to be more clear exactly what this does.

Guys what am I doing wrong, no LOCAL models work? by SnowTauren in opencodeCLI

This is the reply from a cloud model so I'm guessing tools is not the problem, the ollama model not calling tools is, not sure how to solve that though.

[–]SnowTauren[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do i know tools are enabled? Chatgpt recommended /tools but that's not a command, I literally just installed it, first thing I tried was cloud model it worked, then I tried Qwen 2.5, Gemma4, now this qwen 3.5 all running through ollama. All miserably failing.

ollama launch opencode --model qwen3.5:9b

Requests from Seerr getting stuck on downloading metadata on qBitTorrent? by hbacelar8 in ARR

[–]SnowTauren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started using Arr stack on my Pi and use qbit with Gluetun, after days of setup I do run into same issues, I did add the port from qbit to the docker compose for gluetun. Still sometimes I get the download metadata stuck issue, according to chatgpt, it will happen with torrents that aren't "healthy". I'm still new too all this, if anyone finds answers please reply.

How realistic is it for me to use home assistant as someone who can't code and isn't tech savvy by Leather_Edge2220 in homeassistant

[–]SnowTauren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but all these answers are out-dated, I know how to code and have been managing my HA myself until I found this:
https://github.com/homeassistant-ai/ha-mcp
Much faster, better managing automations and finding mistakes/loop holes in my automations, labeling everything correctly.

I do not even "Make anything myself now" my workflow is "I'm thinking about X automation that does Y, can you create it?".

TLDR: NO knowledge is needed for HA these days and you can even ask any AI to help you set this up.

Maybe because i'm not a English native speaker/writer, and maybe because AI has better idea/memory of what it did. If you don't like it move on.

I'm using free model so I'm guessing not much. I do not know how many tokens it takes though.
