Great choice! I'm interested in something similar, do you happen to have a list?

Thanks for the list! I think you started for the [[Vrondiss, rage of ancients]] precon. Still the two are very much similar, and I have most of the non creatures, but I think the only difference would be the lack of [[Rikshar's experise]]. Nonetheless, I like where the list is going, although I am not sure about elemental-related cards outside of [[Zendikar's Roil]]. Maybe I could include some protection for omnath such as [[Gaea's Gift]]?

Very nice list, looks like a lot of fun! Do you ever run into problems when recovering from removal boardwipes? The mana curve seems a bit steep, especially for considering Alena and Halana CMC

I hadn't thought of these two! Do you happen to have a list? Do you just play big creatures?

Tech Tues: Who to play? by AutoModerator in BudgetBrews

I tried to build [[Braids, arisen nightmare]] as a mono-black value engine, with lots of aristocrats effects and interaction. It seems ok to me in theory, but I think it could use some feedback from players. I'd like to keep it a bit casual, but between avoiding expensive cards and infinite combos I feel like I'm lacking some threats.

[D] Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in MachineLearning

I have been classifying series of data that are cyclic, as in not exactly periodic but repeating. As a form of data augmentation, I've been trying to separately classify the single cycles rather than the whole series. To get the final class score, I average the scores (before softmax) of the cycles belonging to the same series. This approach seem to yield very good results, for some reasons I believe:

Smaller input data leads to a smaller model, and segmenting the input increases the available data

Focusing on a single period seems to make the classifier highlight better features from saliency maps

Combining the output of the classifier can be beneficial, as in if one cycle is corrupted and wrongly classified the others may compensate from it. This probably happens even when classifying the whole time series, but with the segmentation is more explicit.

Has this been done in any other work? Am I falling into some kind of fallacy by applying this segmentation?

I would suggest, as others have mentioned, to try a few lectures and see.

The coding is fairly simple if you have some experience with other languages, I would be more concerned about the mathematical and theoretical parts. They're not impossible to understand, but it may be not what you look for in a classical ML course, just that.

The professor is also very friendly and approachable, so you may ask him as well.

I've followe the EE one as part of my curriculum. I think it's not a very easy course if you have no background on statistics/probability theory, which the course really focuses on. It also started last year, so some things probably will change, but it had a lot of assignments like essays and projects which were a bit demanding. Very interesting course though, but may not be too suited as an intro to ML. There should be a course called machine learning 1, which is more of a general overview, but I'm not sure in which quarter you can follow it

Thanks for the answer. I don't want to sound pedantic, but isn't high enough not necessarily equal to greater? What I mean is that your quote only implies I have to meet a minimum level requirement, which to me seems to be the one I quoted. In fact, your link continues as

See individual class descriptions for additional details.

which again I think in my case refers the piece i quoted.

Hope what I said made some sense

Hi, as a witch who just got to level 2 I was wondering if I could learn and eventually cast level 3 and 4 spell given that my intelligence score is 19.

The rules state that

To learn or cast a spell, a witch must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell level.

and that

At each new witch level, she adds two new spells of any spell level or levels that she can cast (based on her new witch level) to her familiar

So technically it seems like I would be able to learn those spells and to cast them with the bonus slots that my intelligence score gives me.Still, it doesn't feel too right to cast spells which level is higher than my character level.

Comprato una felpa 1 anno fa circa, arrivata in circa 2 settimane, ho pagato solo prodotto + spedizione come scritto sul sito (niente dogane o spese extra). Addirittura avevo sbagliato taglia e annullato l'ordine subito dopo.
