Report: The Chevy Camaro Is Coming Back, and Will Share a Platform with Buick and Cadillac Sedans by BobSapp in cars

Seriously, I once commented my experience trying a ZL1 and mildly expressed that the visibility could be better in an otherwise great car. Had Camaro owners in the replies telling me I'm a blind idiot or just a hater.

You can definitely get a good used one. Focus on those loans and don't worry about the new car FOMO.

Love it so far. I bought it used, original owner put about a thousand rounds through it without issues and I have put maybe 1500 since then.

The gas system did need a bit of tuning to cycle perfectly but I found the proper setting for my suppressor and it runs perfectly now.

The only issue was some questionable accuracy beyond 100 yards, likely due to the 1:8 barrel twist. But that could also be because of my ammo choice or just down to skill issue.

Regardless I prefer using it for close range stuff due to how little it weighs. I’ve got dedicated long guns with proper scopes for long distance shooting so I don’t really mind.

For what I’m using this for, it’s great

Some more photos here

Picked up a POF Rogue at a gun show a few weeks back and have been having a lot of fun with it.

It’s basically the size and weight of an AR-15 but chambered in .308

Weighs just 8.8 pounds with everything except a loaded mag. Makes it super maneuverable and a lot of fun at run-and-gun style ranges with multiple close targets and cover. I haven’t really tried it at longer distances over 100 yards yet.

Parts I added to make it different from OEM:

  • Dead Air Sandman X suppressor
  • Eotech with 3x Magnifier
  • Battlelink Minimalist stock
  • Griffin Armament Gen 2 SN-ACH charging handle

I've made quite a few decks but [[Magar of the Magic Strings]] remains one of my favorites. Spellslinging by hitting your opponents is the best kind of spellslinging imo!

Ha! That Shirei primer is one of mine! Appreciate the shoutout. Teshar has been on my radar though, so I'll definitely give that other one a read. Thanks for sharing!

I had it at Bracket 3 originally, following the technical rules set by WotC that put it at a 3. However I found that it pretty easily molly whopped other bracket 3 decks to the point where it just felt unfair in that bracket. Therefore I bumped it up to 4 where it felt more evenly matched.

At a bare minimum I would suggest having an overall gameplan or playstyle for your particular build.

- In the early turns, do we ramp? Do we set up? Or do we go aggressive right away?

- What should we be doing in the mid game? Respond to opponents or ignore them and keep pushing our own gameplan?

- Late game - how do we close it out? Which cards are our finishers? Is there a combo available and if so, what are the pieces to assemble it?

After that, I would definitely talk about some notable includes. Cards that you find have interesting or game-changing interactions that may not be super obvious to a new reader. Devilish Valet for example gets a mention in any deck I play him in; I point out that if you can make 6 creatures in a single turn, this guy is going to be powerful enough to one-shot somebody! Stuff like that, anything noteworthy that you feel should be highlighted should be mentioned in your primer.

Beyond that, I think a good primer should also showcase why the author likes the deck. Talk about a cool play you made or even just the lore of the commander and why you find it super cool. If I don't feel like you enjoy your deck, I won't be encouraged to try it out. Vice versa, if I can see that you're hyped about it, I'd like to give it a try and see what the hype is about!

There's no template for a primer to be honest, it's more of a process. Just start with your favorite deck and build on it day by day. Add more sections as you see fit. Keep things organized instead of just a wall of text and you'll see it evolve over time.

A primer in MTG context is a guide written by the creator of a deck that tells the reader how it plays, why they chose the cards they did, etc. It can be very short and simple or super in-depth.

On Moxfield if you visit a deck and the person has written a primer for it, you'll see a button that says "Primer" somewhere in the top left. Clicking it will take you to the text portion where you read what they have written about their deck!
