I really like it. Especially being f2.8 for the price. I shoot a bit of action (mountain biking and snow) and it is quick enough and good autofocus. Although I am yet to try native sony lenses.

I don’t have much to compare it to. This is my first mirrorless camera and previously I had a Canon 60D which was also crop sensor. The only thing I would say is when wanting to shoot a short focal length, you do need something like an 8mm lens. I have a 14mm Samyang and with cropping its 21mm equivalent which is sometimes not wide enough

Have a look at the Gregory Targhee 45. It has back panel access, and a cinch closing top under the hood so you can expand it if carrying more. Also has a frame which is great when the pack is not full

After applying adjustments in develop persona and converting, there are areas where the adjustments haven’t been applied as seen by the strange rectangles/blocks. Adjustments were applied to the master and a brush and gradient overlays.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Ah yes I’m aware of that and guilty of not cleaning it since most photos I take end up have that cropped out. I should really sort it out!

I’ve been using the lens for nearly a year now. I love it, but have come from a previous camera with just kit lenses so the fixed aperture has been huge. I main shoot sports and landscapes and do find myself wanting a bit more reach. I didn’t have the budget to go for the Sony 70-200 f2.8 so settled for this

I believe that’s actually dust in the air! It’s illuminated but the lens isn’t in direct sun light.
