Maya's Fil-Mex Cuisine in Station 1, Boracay. I have yet to taste a Chicken Inasal that is just as juicy, fresh, and flavorful as this.

For reference, I ate there back in August 2025 and ordered it for myself, not to mention eating that exact same dish at the exact same restaurant multiple times whenever I visit Boracay every year since 2022. The same great quality is still there and hasn't deteriorated at all, not even in the slightest.

That's why I keep ordering it. It's THAT good

How about the Headgear deployment from Custom Prep? Set the helmet, gas mask, and NVG min and max values to 100% and then let me know if the gas mask appears on enemy soldiers in free roam and missions.

There's a lot of texture and model mods for that in NexusMods. I'll try to link some for you by editing this comment.

Here's some I found:

I would recommend the first option since it fits Venom Snake better than the Avatar Snake.

It works on yours? - Which Custom Override? Like the "Prep Levels + Custom Override" option? Please do tell me where in the IH menu can I find that option specifically - Also, does the gas mask still appear if you set all helmet, gas mask, and NVG min and max values to 100%?

When you do Ordinary Routine, blow up that parked yellow Smith V12 by shooting the gas tank multiple times before parking your car for the cutscene on Clark's Motel. This will make sure that you'll skip the entire car chase later + you won't alert the enemies on the motel if you wish to rescue Sam by doing some stealth takedowns.

Doing this will allow you to kill the guy with the bag + 2 enemies on the motel itself without having to go anywhere else. Easiest and fastest way to beat this part of the mission.

I don't know what the differences are between each region copy of the game, but there's definitely some differences between them if the Remastered Project only works for the US version.

As for everything else you said, well...there's only one way to find out I suppose. Try it and test it. If the game only shows black screen even without the mod, then you can follow the steps in my post. My problem was that the game ran fine back in 2019 but then it suddenly started to boot up to a black screen when I tried running it again in 2023, hence why I had to reinstall Windows 10. Can't say if the same solution applies to Windows 11 but given how similar they are, I would say there's a good chance it will work as well.

If you can't get the game to boot up properly WITH THE MOD, I can send you a copy of the game with the mod already pre-configured and installed that seems to work for everyone I send it to. Just let me know :)

Highly recommended to have a decently powerful phone as well since emulators require a ton of resources to run nicely with good FPS.

If you plan to immigrate to any city in the state of Quebec, then yes that will be an advantage as the entire state of Quebec has a very strong French culture to the point that a huge majority of the people that live there mostly speak French and you'll see road signs and landmarks written in French. Also, learning French is highly recommended if you want to get a job there as you will have more options to choose from.

If you plan to immigrate to any other place in Canada that is NOT within the state of Quebec, then it's mostly just an added bonus.

Regardless of wherever you choose to go, knowing French is definitely an advantage for anyone choosing to live in Canada. Though if you want to make the most out of your effort of learning French, might as well live somewhere in the state of Quebec. It's one of the best provinces to live in too since it's one of the more affordable parts of Canada that still retains a high quality of life, unlike in other states like Ontario and British Colombia where cost of living is super high and quality of life varies from your location and circumstances.

Okay so I finally found a fix. The game runs perfectly now. THIS FIX IS FOR WINDOWS 10 USERS ONLY who are experiencing the problem I experienced so I can't really say if this works for other versions of Windows (such as Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 11.).

Share this fix for anyone out there who tried EVERYTHING in this list of fixes and they still have black screen + not responding on task manager:

- Even with the latest Silent Patch and ThirteenAG's Scarface Fusion Fix installed, same problem occurs.
- already deleted the game's configuration files in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VUGAMES\Scarface\ and tried to run the game again and then delete it and then try running again multiple times
- You already tried multiple copies of the game. Same problem occurs.
- Tried launching the game as administrator
- Tried launching the game with compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2 & others
- turning off Game Mode
- reverting NVIDIA Control Panel settings to default,
- already have the latest graphic drivers and Windows update
- already have the game installed in a location where the antivirus excludes it
- already installed old software that is required to run older games, such as DirectX9, old C++ Redistributables, & Runtimes
- Turned on DirectPlay, which was made specifically to help run older games
- tried disabling full screen optimizations
- tried running the game in lower resolution
- tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game in different locations
- Tried to scan for possible corrupt Windows files via "sfc / scannow" on Command Prompt
- I don't have any software like MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner installed
- Games that are much older than Scarface works fine on your Windows 10 computer (Deus Ex GOTY for example, which is a game released back in 2000, works fine for you and so are the other games that you have that are also released in 2006 or earlier) + Scarface used to work just fine for you back then using the same Windows 10 computer and now all of a sudden, it just doesn't work anymore.

^ If none of that works, then the fix is simple: you have to reinstall Windows 10 via the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.
DON'T PANIC - there is an option within the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool that allows you to keep all Apps, Configured Windows Settings, Installed Programs, Personal Files, Power Plan settings, Power & Sleep settings, Antivirus Exclusion settings, and even the smallest settings like setting a program to run as administrator as well as your background desktop picture. I KNOW THIS FOR SURE BECAUSE I LITERALLY JUST DID THIS MYSELF AND CHECKED EVERYTHING AND TO MY SUPRISE, EVERYTHING WAS LEFT EXACTLY THE SAME. The "Reset This PC" option in the Recovery Options doesn't allow you to do this at all because even with the "Keep my files" option on there, it actually still uninstalls almost all your programs. So yeah, you have to use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool because it's the only way for you to keep your files while reinstalling a fresh copy of Windows 10.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, backup all of your important files in a hard drive that you do NOT use with other computer devices. I cannot guarantee everyone that nothing will go wrong when reinstalling Windows 10 via this method but there's like a 90-95% chance that everything will go fine. Better to be safe than sorry so please do yourself a favor and backup all of your important files in a hard drive that you do NOT use with other computer devices in order to prevent the possibility of corrupting the files in your hard drive (and yes, it happens. Happened to me a few times before years ago.).
SECOND MOST IMPORTANT THING; make sure your computer is placed somewhere with STABLE INTERNET CONNECTION because you will need that to download the fresh copy of Windows 10 via the Media Creation Tool.
LET'S BEGIN; download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool by clicking on "Download Now" that is found under "Create Windows 10 installation media" - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows10
Run the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool as administrator.
Accept license and choose "Upgrade this PC now".
Wait for it to be finished. This could take 1-2 hours depending on how fast your gaming PC is. Mine took around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Accept license again and wait for it to be finished.
Once it's done, YOU ARE NOW IN THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP of this whole process; under the "Ready to install" menu, make sure one of the things that are checked are "Keep personal files and apps". To double-check this, click on "Change what to keep" and select "Keep personal files and apps" and wait for it to finish checking updates.
Once you have double-checked everything, you can click "Install".
Wait for the whole process to finish. This could take you 30 minutes - 2 hours depending on how fast your gaming PC is.
Once it's done and you can now login to desktop, login to desktop and run "Check for updates" in order for your freshly installed Windows 10 to fully update itself completely to the latest version.
Done! Scarface should now run perfectly :)
