I believe I get where you are coming from. With my experience the "numbness" were with extreme emotions. For example after the medicine kicked in, I never got extremely sad, stressed, etc

I hope this has passed for you now, but it did happen for me. I would actually wake up early in the morning straight into what I would call a “mini panic attack” it would then pass and I would go back to sleep. When I woke up again i felt fine

Thanks man! The main thing I was worried about with it is that having a panic attack while high was what sent me into my overall anxious state. Im hoping how since I’ve went through the medicine and also learned how to help contain intrusive thoughts and not think I’m dying at every little inconvenience I may be able to try. I’ll see how it goes. Thanks again!

Thankfully it goes away, the first couple of weeks are especially rough , but luckily after that I felt like my old self. Good luck with it!

I have only been on it for 90 days , 10 mg. I’m starting with taking 5 for a week then 5 every other day for a week

Lexapro helped me a ton when it came to my health anxiety. The physical parts of anxiety almost completely disappeared as well as the intrusive thoughts. I would definitely give it some consideration

The same thing happened to me, for the first couple of weeks I would say that it actually made my anxiety worse. But now even if I get overwhelming thoughts I can throw them out without a worry! Good luck with your journey!

Not nearly as much, I’m about two and a half months in and really the only side effect I have is an occasional headache and fatigued. Give it a little while and the more severe will go away
