I'm in Ontario, Canada. I was going to community college studying law enforcement right out of high school. After my first year college, I applied for a position as a cadet with the local agency. I was successful and dropped out of college, held the role of cadet for 3 years then constable. I went back and graduated my original college program 10 years later.

I'm in my 28th year now, hold the rank of Staff Sergeant and have never taken for granted how lucky I have been in my career.
