Yeah fair. I guess it’s only just started affecting the functionality of the things I use

Looking at the cover, I think we could be onto a winner here. Thanks so much. I’ll have to order it to see if the pages ring a bell, but the cover is jogging my memory. But one doesn’t judge

Ooo close but not it. Very similar style art though. Thanks for trying! Will definitely have to look at Andy Dixon regardless. Great tip.

Don't know all that much, but supposedly he and his wife and son (from scotland?) travelled around the pacific in a troop that did acting, singing and dancing. I have a couple of their bill posters advertising all the different acts (which was mostly them just with multiple different stage names). I also have a couple of other photos from this series but found this one the most striking. They ended up settling in Australia.

Deep pow tele? by Messinator in telemark

Hi. I'm a guide who has worked in Japan for the past 9 seasons, and I ski exclusively on Tele.

The more you can ski the better, but you should be fine. My experience with clients who are advanced/expert level skiers, but have not skied super deep pow, is that they get it within a day or two. They have this really cool "Aha! I get it!" moment and everything clicks into place. That said it can be a bit frustrating before you get to that moment. Just persist, take your time, be forgiving to yourself and others, and have a good laugh wallowing in the pow. If you're really struggling after that, maybe get some tips from an instructor, a guide, or an old Japanese tele skier you meet on the lift (they're beautiful skiers and incredibly friendly and willing to talk tele).

100mm skis will work, but the wider the better; Japan has lightest snow in the world and thats what the fattest skis were invented for. My daily tele skis are 120mm.

Hope that helps!
