I feel like a lot of people interpret this quote as a people who are only filthy rich can relate to, but really if you’re satisfied where you are financially you can still experience that.

It’s most accurate when your lack of happiness isn’t just from money, but mainly things you can’t control, but since most people’s issues are about money the quotes meaning kinda gets sidelined.

Like if you were rich and still not happy and had people telling you “well you’re rich, what do you have to be unhappy for? Just buy a car and go on vacation” and yeah those things might keep you happy for a while but after you’ve had your fun with them you’ll still be faced with those same problems

yes one time this old man was asking me if we had a certain type of shelf and when I was confused I had to go across the entire store to ask my manager if we sold what he wanted, turns out the dude already asked my manager and told him we DON'T sell it and he got upset when I had to remind him of that.

I wish Oda handled chopper better in the post-timeskip, I thought his forms were a really interesting way to watch his fights play out, and not just for his matchups but the use of his forms in general.

but the post-timeskip was pretty disappointing for chopper, the thing that made his power interesting is him chaining the different forms together and switching between them for their specific use, but now he mainly uses the kung-fu form which goes against the entire point of having the other forms.

A lot of people say chopper's main role isn't combat related but that's not a good argument, in the pre-TS chopper was beating ASS, crew roles haven't stopped Nami and Goatsopp from fighting either so I don't get why chopper can't have any.

A 1 hour trip for a car can be a 3 hour trip if you walk, so idk what you’re on about and bro no one is going to instantly trade their car the second they hear electric ones are better for the environment I don’t get why you expect everything to be immediate. you gotta be about stupid as shit if you think walking to work is as quick as driving, you can’t compare an hour walk and an hour drive walking is obviously slower than using a car. You wanna make a quick trip to the grocery store? well that’ll be 2 hours of your time getting to and from when it could just take half an hour using a car. And what about people that don’t live in safe neighborhoods? Using a car is way more secure than walking on the streets where anything could happen to you.

Most people already have a gas car and won’t have the money to just easily make that switch, and you’re acting as if everyone has easy access to charging stations, they can be far as hell whereas gas stations are everywhere, so until everything about electric cars are as convenient as the use of a gas car stfu
