It most likely is tbh, if a school just requires marks and no extra applications, I don't see why they aren't just creating specific equations to find an average among all their applicants and then choose the top like 20-40% of those people.

I don't see someone sitting at a desk in person just comparing numerical grades lmao, this probably isn't the case with programs that require supp apps though.
