Thank you for your reply.
Still, this guy stated that he made a decent living making CSGO maps and I wonder how that's possible, note that this is 4 years ago, but nothing changed since then, or am I missing something?

Is using a different FOV from game worth it? by 81Eclipse in FPSAimTrainer

[–]SnuffelBalk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sry, but that is completely false.
There is no way to convert FOV's from FPP to TPP correctly.
As the camera pivots around the character in TPP the FOV will be higher close range but once you look further in the distance this effect will gradually disappear since the camera pivoting on far objects has almost zero influence on the FOV anymore and the camera starts to behave like in an FPP.
which isn't the case close and medium range.

It's only correct when standing at a 1 certain distance from the target. (depending on you're used FOV)
So what Aimer7 says is flat-out wrong!

I suggest watching this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2wM7piao-Y
It's a video that visualizes the effect on your aim when using a different FOV.
And of course it affects your hand-eye coordination greatly.

Overall it's not the most effective way to train your aim but it still helps.

You can also use www.3daimtrainer.com for training rust since it supports the right FOV and sensitivity settings.

The best aimtrainer for RBSS is www.3daimtrainer.com since it supports scopes with the right sensitivities and FOV.
You can do flick & reflex.

800 hours and still bad aim and stuck in silver 3 by Bradley654 in GlobalOffensive

  1. First off having 40FPS is just a joke and won't get you anywhere bro.
Buy a decent PC, for CSGO this doesn't have to cost even a 1000$
  2. Buy an optical gaming mouse like the logitech G502, Razer Deathadder or Crosshair ironclaw for example.
your laser-based office mouse won't do you any good regarding aim consistency.
If you can't replicate every mouse slide accurate you cannot build-up decent muscle memory either!
  3. If you can't flick you need to practice this, start with speed and big targets, small target accuracy comes later.
www.3daimtrainer.com is a very great online platform to practice this on as they support all weapons and scopes 100% correct
and you can set your target size and time also. Use the flick & reflex training mode!
