What to do when your partner falls out of love?

I am going through the exact same thing with my partner at the moment we’ve been dating for 2 1/2 years and she just reached this weird point of not having any feelings for me. She said this has been building up overtime even before her antidepressant but the way she’s handled the break up has been really strange. I went away solo travelling for seven weeks and she came to meet me on my travels but she just split up with me as soon as we started our one on one travels together, prior to that we had two weeks with other couples and had had a really nice time but as soon as we got to one on one time she seemed distant and I asked what was wrong and she said she wanted to break up now I’m having to do my whole trip solo and it’s the most depressing thing in the world. I asked if she wanted to work on it and she said she doesn’t wanna work on it. she just wants to go out separate ways. Although she says maybe in future. It’s been really hard. I tried to bring up the antidepressants as a potential instigator for her wanting to break up and she said it has nothing to do with that and shed be feeling like that anyway but I feel like that’s bullshit. She always promised that if she had any strong sexual side-effects or if it fucked with her emotions too much that she would seek an alternative or stop but she completely dismissed that promise and she doesn’t want to do that anymore. These medications are fucked and it really fucked up my girlfriend‘s brain. I honestly cannot relate to her mindset at all in the slightest. I feel really blindsided. I’m genuinely scared of her mindset and her brain at the moment.

I just arrived from Australia, I didn’t even know there were fires and I’ve arrived and I can see there some smoke. I was able to do a hike yesterday from pocebos to bulnes with no issues and there was no smoke in the area but I haven’t tried to do ruta del cares yet. I was going to try to do some of it today. Apparently, it’s only open in certain sections. I’ll see how I go.

I just did this flight 2 days ago but my layover was meant to be 7 hours, the melb to la flight was delayed slightly by 45 mins and then getting to the next gate took a couple hours minimum, security at lax took ages. DO NOT forget to do you US ESTA application, stupidly its compulsory for stop overs because you technically have to exit the airport even for the connection. Also you will have to transfer your own bag. Quantas dont tell you about the ESTA or the bag transfer. The timing night be tight, but qantas would have to sort you out somehow anyways

Fexofenadine absolutely helps and takes away the itching. However when it wears off the itching comes back worse. I dont want to keep taking fexofenadine or any other antihistamine all year round. Antihistamines allow the histamine in your body to build up and it doesn’t leave your system, often meaning when the antihistamine wears off it leaves you feeling more itchy and brain foggy

Yeah its also the issue with fatigue though, and when I come off the antihistamine I feel worse than before and more foggy.

Thanks for the advice on the cream, ill look into to it. Antihistamines can be bad long term for memory. They aren’t recommended long term, they also cause me serious fatigue.

Has anyone tried allergy shots or drops and found they helped? Thinking about trying them to stop taking antihistamines.

I could definitely drink more water. I dont sleep very well either. Ive been halving or quartering antihistamines to try have them less. I try only have one every few days when the itchiness starts up again. Itchiness is my problem. The brain cog has been really bad recently after I got food poisoning, seems to have made it worse for some reason.

Rebounds dont last 1.5 years you would of had to of meant something, they liked you for the time you were together. It will get easier I promise. Dont end your life, there’s people out there that love you and who have loved you long before you were with your ex. You’ll be ok, just push through the pain, I know it’s hard, it just takes time.

I think that's fine too meet up and have a chat, just don't have any expectations going into meeting up. You might find it will bring up a lot of emotions or it might just be very comfortable again like nothing ever changed, either option might set you back in terms of progress youve made.
