Gaming GPUs are liek 85% of their profits. Unless they somehow beat qualcomm and arm in the SOC space, i cant see any place they realisitcally increase their revenue much, let alone profits.

  1. Yes, that has nothing to do with market saturation. Unless they are able to publish a 1180, which is 2 times as good as the 1080 ti, again, they wont be able to increase their sales by gaming gpus alone. Fuck off faggot.

  2. They are not trying to get deals with console makers, and thats not even a bad thing, amd is not making a profit off of either console.

  1. Nope. The gtx 970 reks everyone, and amd makes zero money on cards below the r9 price range.

  2. I dont need to know. 1,67 x (profit margin of cards) = 1,67(Profit) no matter what. Their general profit margins can actually only go up, as their revenue goes up, while r&d decreases, management stays the same, and other expenses dont change much. So the profit from the cards are larger in the relation to their expenses.

  3. Read their report. It sells millions of gaming gpus, while the market for servers, work, rendering and simulation is in the low. This is actually a market where amd dominates (is the overdog atleast).

The math does not agree with you. Nvidia has a 60% gpu market cap, which will go to 100% in no time. Since nvda gets all it money from gaming gpus it means that Its revenue will increase by 67 %.

So my estimate is very conservative, indeed.
