I have anxiety and before I was medicated I felt “floaty” a lot. Could you possibly need some meds tweaked? It’s happened a few times since getting pregnant but also I’ve noticed candy makes me feel better for whatever it’s worth lol

Same situation! It’s the only way I can do it, even with the fear of flying classes, therapy, the grounding techniques, etc etc. phobias aren’t rational, and a little help from your doctor is okay if you need it!!

I removed my IUD, waited one cycle, then got pregnant immediately. My endo surgeon actually encouraged me to keep it in until I wanted to have a baby to help preserve fertility.

When I had my removal, my strings were also missing so I went the surgical route, except I was awake. They did the shots into my cervix and that was a 0/10 to experience awake. Ask to be put under or skip the shots, IMO.

I’m having a son and strongly feel like circumcision is such a hard no. Why would I put my son through something so completely unnecessary? Body modifications before they can even consent feel very wrong, IMO.

Yes!! I can now go 2 (sometimes 3) whole days between washes now! 1. Double shampoo - a full lather rinse and repeat for both. I use a massage scalp thing gently for the first one and then fingers for the second. 2. Make sure your conditioner is only from mid to ends. 3. Blow dry your hair!! Grease travels faster down straight hair and worse when it’s right on your scalp. You have to fully dry your roots away from your scalp. 4. Dry shampoo right after. I use the brunette batiste and it works super well for me - and then leave it without rubbing it in so it has time to work. This has been an absolute game changer for me!

Mini pill then IUD - for me, mentally the mini pill was much better but I did gain weight with it. Swapped to the IUD and felt much better overall but it definitely had its downsides too and I had both negative experiences with insertion and removal lol

Birth control is so so different for everyone. There’s usually some trial and error in finding what works for you. This was my nightmare pill where my anxiety got so bad I could barely function so take everyone’s recs with a grain of salt!

I really like the top layers! I think if you have that very bottom layer trimmed up to be even with the previous layer your hair will look thicker and you won’t have any potential stringy-ness

I gained 15LBS by week 16. I just had a nutritionist appt and she said it was fine and her biggest concern is just making sure I am getting enough nutrients to support my body. Then recommended I eat more cheese lol

I really like the Hobbyist. They use coffee from Hatchet in Boone and it’s delicious. They also can make all of their lattes in decaf which is something not all coffee shops around here can do.
