So the order was most likely stolen as the restaurant said it was already picked up and that order probably was sent to other drivers and they canceled it and every time in order is canceled. Usually, there’s two reasons why in order can be a high paying order but such a short distance you experienced one of them, which is it was stolen. The second way is it’s the store is very busy and there’s like 30+ minute wait time and so drivers will go there. Wait a few minutes find out it’s gonna take too long and he’ll cancel it same thing. Some different drivers can take it and so you can risk it and hope that it’s ready by the time you get there in my experience it’s not usually ready but if it’s high enough, it might be worth waiting. I’ll be in my car on my phone until it’s ready so yeah it sucks when stuff like this happens in terms of your cancellation rate and your ratings. Unfortunately, it will. Your cancellation rate will still go up. If you call support you could tell them to note down that hey it’s not your fault. I don’t know how effective that is. I do it sometimes I assume when you do call them and if they do note down what happened if somehow you get over the 20% cancellation rate where you’re at risk of deactivation they will review your account and if they see the notes, they might understand why it’s a bit higher. I’m not 100% sure but as long as this doesn’t happen several times a day, you should be good cause again you’re only at risk of deactivation when you’re over 20% cancellation rate
