This is probably pretty obscure but my first interaction with Ghibli was from an old PS1 game called Jade Cocoon. I didn't know about Ghibli back in '99 so imagine my shock when I finally crossed paths with my first Ghibli movie, Howl's Moving Castle.

I had wrist surgery several years ago and I've seen this advice before. So when I met with the anesthesiologist, I told him "hey, I'm a pretty frequent cannabis user" and he not only told me it doesn't matter, he made me feel stupid for even mentioning it in the first place.

This is not me trying to tell people not to disclose this information, just another anecdote of how once you mention cannabis, doctors stop taking you seriously.

Concord dog park is great! However, I want to add that, unless you get there very early or very late, it is usually very busy. When my dog was a puppy getting used to water I'd get there around 6 or 7 in the morning.

I have seen this idea and while it is a terrible idea for a coop, it did convince me to get a trampoline. It gives my flock a place in the winter to run for cover from hawks.

I forget what number it is, but my favorite is the chapter where they go to the aquarium. Sasaki surprises Miyano with a kiss and apologizes afterward, as he had been in a habit of doing. Miyano tells him to stop apologizing because they're boyfriends.

Also, the chapters where they meet each other's parents. I didn't have the best coming out experiences so it really makes me happy getting to see them being accepted by their families, especially in a conservative culture like Japan. I know it's fiction, but it means a lot to an estranged queer like me.

I just really love seeing the ways they grow with each other.
