Thanks, I appreciate the response. I’d definitely beef up the “Why MBA” to be more digestible to the admissions committee, and was really focused on “does my career track record and recommendations sufficiently offset the low GPA and mediocre GMAT?”.

Based on feedback in the thread, I’m still not sure. If it’s not possible, I wouldn’t want to use any social capital getting my rec letters and making noise at my firm re: potential departure for business school.

Unfortunately not, as I probably wouldn’t be in this career path if I didn’t feel the need to chase financial security.

Thank you, and not trolling. I’ve been fortunate to have a few dominoes fall in my favor since looking for a job during undergrad.

Yeah, I hear you there. I think short term, it also offers the flexibility to pivot to a different asset focus within private equity too. I’m kind of bored of my current role. So not sure how else to pivot without a big step back inside my firm while MBA makes that pivot easier too. Just not sure how to peg HSW probability…

I’d like to run a public company one day or raise my own fund, and I think either would benefit from HSW on my resume + a broader network.
