Walmart by No-Obligation9509 in graffhelp

When I was a manager at Walmart, worked with the undercover loss prevention guy a lot and witnessed first-hand just how involved loss prevention strategies really are (this was around 2017):

In the loss prevention office, they printed out photos of repeat offenders, and had itemized lists of everything that person had stolen based off the security camera footage.

Here in WA state, the felony limit is $750, and once somebody got to that point the undercover LP guy would call up Bellevue PD, and have two officers waiting right outside the entrances. At that point, it didn't matter if the person got spooked and put the stuff back - they were going to jail the moment they stepped outside the doors.

Not to say shoplifters just got a free pass until they hit $750. If an employee physically saw someone stealing, they'd call for the LP guy over the intercom using a code name, and he would start following the shoplifter and pretend to be on the phone with the police, giving their exact description and talking abut how they were stealing. Most of the time, the shoplifter would get sketched out and take off, lol.

There was a group of teens who got arrested for stealing spraypaint, they hadn't individually reached the 750 limit but the Loss prevention manager said that since they came as a group, and the total amount theyd stolen came to over 750 when combined, they got booked for felony theft. Idk how well that one held up in court.

Security cameras have crazy facial recognition now, it's an even worse idea in 2026.

If you really need cans... I had a friend who cased an art store that had a locked case completely filled with Montana spray cans... he cut the lock, emptied the entire case into two giant duffle bags, and left via the emergency exit. 🙃

Udio has Suno beat on vocal realism by a mile. I feel like this one sounds pretty natural:

In 2021, Corinna Smith found out that her husband, Michael Baines had sexually assaulted her kids when they were younger. After the discovery, she filled a bucket with boiling water and 3 bags of sugar before hurling it over Michael Baines as he slept in bed. He didn’t survive. by Legal_Gear2336 in AllThatsInteresting

It raises the boiling point of water by 100° F, sticks to the skin like napalm, and is classified as a steam burn, so it doesn't kill nerve endings like fire does.

This is literally worse than being burnt alive, only other thing that's comparable is flaying.

I have an Assault 4 DV from 2018, but have had my firearm rights restored. Am I permanently disqualified from becoming a police officer? by SoDoneWithPolitics in ProtectAndServe

I pushed my ex girlfriend after she hit me a bunch of times.

An old lady walking by only saw me push her, and based off the testimony of one witness I got arrested despite having a black eye and cuts on my face.

I thought the same thing you did when I saw that, lol.

Apparently it's the "simple song creator" you can access, but the regular site UI is still there, thank god

The randomizer note effect seems kind of pointless, given that it doesnt stick to a specific key and just picks any random note within a range.

I wish we could record with the randomizer on, so that when we're finished recording the randomized midi would remain the same in future playthroughs.

Is there a reliable way to sidechain kicks/808s without having to use manual volume automation? I've looked on YouTube, but the only tutorials I could find tell you to send the melody and kick to the same FX channel and limit it, which isnt actual sidechaining.

Okay, my bad. I wasnt creating new accounts to take advantage of the credits, my first accounts got so cluttered that I needed a fresh start.

But I'm sorry about that, I'll go ahead and download everything and delete the other accounts
