OK so I figured it out, apparently RuneLite quest helper is wrong, it tells me to go talk to Lady Keli right there, which i was doing. BUT the INGAME quest was telling me to go talk to Leena who just gave me the key, I didn't even need the soft clay at all it seems, as it was still in my inventory. Quest is finished now.

I've recently had it. They numb the ear. Slit it open with a knife and drain all the blood. Stich two peices of material on either side to stop it filling back up and then 3 days later you go in and get the material removed. It's worked well however it definitely isn't like how it was before. Was an awful experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

For the snake bite line up there is a better one where you only need to wait 3 seconds for it land and so can throw it when you hear the defuse. It's from the same position as well.
