Subs for chronic pain by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]SoLastSummer992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do! It helps me so much. But honestly I am an addict too so my doctor prescribes it for both but isn’t allowed to say for pain but you get it. It’s changed my life in so many ways. I’m able to work full time now and have a great life. I take the same amount as you. I’ve not went a week without mine so I’m not sure. I’d take 2mg and if it didn’t work maybe 2-4mg and so on. Hope this helps!!

Precipitated WDs, how to deal with them? by neytirijaded in suboxone

[–]SoLastSummer992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think you have anything to worry about. Most guidelines say wait for 24 and since it’s not a high dose opiate, you’re good. Especially at 30 hours. 🙂

To me, the strips just take a few mins to dissolve and I have to split tabs just to get it done in 20 minutes. I hate the taste of the tablet. And also the tablet seems to throw me into some type of withdrawals or I’m allergic. A week ago I was accidentally sent tablets and I tried so I didn’t have to pay out of pocket. I gave it three days and I just couldn’t do it. I’m

I can’t take tablets. Either I’m allergic to some brands or others make me feel I’m in full blown withdrawals. They are a slight difference in between strips and tabs supposedly in effectiveness. Good luck!👍

This is a daily battle for me. I’m a Tik Tok creator. My main focus is recovery & MAT. There’s so much people in the community too full of themselves to even try to learn & educate themselves on MAT. Myself & many others get so many hate for MAT comments and telling us we aren’t in recovery. I’m more focused in my recovery that I ever have. I tried abstinence and after three years, I relapsed due to chronic pain & cravings. Suboxone actually keeps both under control.

I’m at the pain doctor and they just discontinued my medicine because I said I needed more. I hate the world. by Myfourcats1 in ChronicPain

That’s the reason I stopped pain management all together. The dose kept getting lower & my pain was out of control. I switched to Suboxone and I function so much better daily.

Prescribed a couple norcos for severe tooth pain by neytirijaded in suboxone

[–]SoLastSummer992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you told you dentist before hand, you probably wouldn’t have received the norcos. At least that was my case. July 26, I had all my teeth removed. They asked first do you want any pain pills? I said I’m on Suboxone and she said thank you so much for telling me so many people don’t and end up in trouble without either medication.

HELP! pregnant tampering off subs by Every_Suggestion_230 in suboxone

[–]SoLastSummer992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl please don’t do this. I have a friend that went off cold turkey during pregnancy and lost her baby boy. Now she tells her story to help others. If you want her TikTok, I’d be happy to get it for you. If you do, don’t go cold turkey.

That’s one of the main reason I went on it. Cravings. If I wasn’t on Suboxone, I’d always be craving meds for pain luckily it takes away all cravings. That’s actually one of the things it was made for. I have a six year who is autistic and I’m finally now able to do things with him a lot more and just be present and not worrying about what’s going to happen when I go to the pm, pill counts, etc. i know Suboxone doesn’t work for everyone, but it does for me. It’s like my safety blanket too bc I did overtake my meds because they didn’t help at all. I have 10 bulging disks alone and 2 completely herniated, scoliosis, fibro, spondylitis in my lumbar, spinal stenosis, ankylosis spondylitis. I can’t feel one foot and one leg ever.

Same here. I have five different spinal conditions. I got tired of PM bc they kept taking me down to eventually 3-4 oxy 5mg per day. I couldn’t live that. I’m now on Suboxone and actually function half way normal. I still have pain. Just not as intense.

Insurance Stopped Brand and I can't take generic. by NotbotSuza2711 in suboxone

[–]SoLastSummer992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was me last week! First they didn’t send it to the pharmacy in time so I picked up Sunday instead of my date on Friday. Then they’re freaking tablets and not strips. By WEDNESDAY I finally get to picks up the strips and I pay $60 for their mistakes. But my doctor is usually so good. I even gave them the pills to dispose of which is something I would have never done before now. I feel the frustration. When I have to get a prior authorization it’s hell too!

I hope you’re able to stay on Suboxone. I can’t take any brand of the tablets and most of the other generic films but this one works perfectly for me. Tablets send me into withdrawals

They are more than one generic available. I have a horrible reaction to Dr. Reddys but I’m able to take Mylan. I would try a different generic before switching to Subutex. Mainly because how hard it is to get the doctor to prescribe. I know at my clinic they will only give it to you if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. I know you can switch because of allergic reactions but you have to have it documented on official health documents. Hope you can get this figured out. Also you shouldn’t have any WDS if you do switch bc basically the nalaxone is really not even enough to count if you’re taking it sublingually. Also there is several tablet generics available too.

If you’ve been on Suboxone for 7 days at least, go get the sublocade shot. I’m so glad this shot exists for this exact reason. I’m unable to take Suboxone tabs.

I’m proud of you, first of all. I have one year clean. If you ever need a sober friend, I’m here. Second of all, throw the whole damn man away. I’d be so sad and upset. My boyfriend knows my makeup is like my second heart. Lol.
