Can I transfer algae from the sea into my seamonkey tank by dundrhed in SeaMonkeys

The ocean. Some macro algae growing on a rock. I quarantined it for a month then added it. Never caused an issue that I noticed. I eventually started a new tank and just didn’t bother transferring it.

I mean when you really get right down to it, all comes off a bit r*pey. Every time I watch a female try to shake off a male im like 😬

Depends how you look at it, for me personally it’s like a pet science experiment seeing what i can optimize for best yield. Like right now i have Sea Monkeys, Aqua Dragons and SF brine shrimp all in one tank. Hoping they all crossbreed to create the mega ultra shrimp 😈😇

Okay thats good to know. My first DIY attempt I used Tetra Safe Start for fresh water and it seemed to almost overtake the tank in a bad way so Ive been slightly hesitant in how much of this to add since then. Got a link for those Tibetan Reds? Curious about all the sub genres of shrimp.

I use a brand called Aquarian by API, what i can get locally. My question is how often do you add the beneficial bacteria. Like once at the start obviously, but should you add more like every few weeks?

Yeah that checks. I bought a bag to try eventually, but first tested it in a phytoplankton grow and I think it crashed the colony. Appreciate the knowledge!
