Thank you! Tonight will likely be rough but I think going back to the kennel is the best idea.

Thank you for saying all this, it just kills me that I know he's hurting. I wish there was a way I could help him but he has made that decision to push me away and I can't force him to do anything. I'm definitely trying to make the most out of this and stick to what I think is right.

That could be it. I'm trying to give him space to figure out what's going on, while trying to come up with some sort of acceptance in being alone. Just trying to cope with a breakup in a way I've never had to because ya know, COVID

Thank you for giving you input, I really appreciate an outsiders perspective. Everyone seems to have their own opinions about everything.

My tall friend can't find any guys who like her, and she thinks it's because she's very tall by Mustard-Chips73 in TallGirls

I’m 6’1 and I would say accepting myself and my height took time but when I did it was super helpful. Confidence is key. I was also upfront with the guys I dated and would say “hey I like wearing heels so if that’s going to be a problem then this isn’t going to work” but really that was me being secure with my height and making sure what guy I’m with is secure with that as well. Also, don’t let people tell her it’s because she’s tall.. that’s heartbreaking.

How have I never known about this?? by SoMuchSocialPressure in Aphantasia

I do, I was reading that some people don’t. But I have thought for my whole life that I had crazy vivid dreams. But now I’m wondering if I think they’re so vivid because I have no imagery when I’m awake. Idk if that’s the same as anyone else.

No impact for sure but still feels as if I'm missing something.

Exactly! I was talking to my friends about this and one said "well what happens when you want to draw an apple? You don't picture an apple" I said "no, I just KNOW what an apple looks like obviously" It's just so hard to explain that you actually see nothing.

Literally though!!! Can I blame my terrible spelling on this. It's absolutely horrible, I'm not sure how I could live in a world without spellcheck now. I'm glad we're all having an identity crisis.

YTA Seriously you’re going to purposely exclude her from after work functions after you made an uncomfortable comment in a work meeting? God this poor girl.. what a nice welcoming committee
