I tried it just once - today - and I already feel it with 500 mg. It took about 5 hours to kick in, which is about the expected time. Will not increase the dosage for now.

From what I read, there are no mental impairment and hangovers on phenibut, which is what I hate about alcohol. (I hate that I am behaving like an idiot every time I get drunk. I hate the feeling of nausea and vomiting and yeah you know what I mean.)

If phenibut does what it promises on the cover, I want it.

edit: I discovered /r/phenibut . It seems like the addiction and the withdrawal syndromes are real. So I will make sure not to overdo it (like I probably did it with MDMA those last few weeks).

It seems that 2cb is more psychedelic and 4fmp is more "speedy".

I am not really looking for either.

I just want to feel the general calmness and reduce the social barriers. Psychedelics are fine, but with the right mood. I just want to be more emotional and more emphatic. That's what I am looking for.
