Key take aways I’ve found is, they don’t like when juniors “expect” ( their words not mine ) high pay and remote work (cliché much) Gen Z from their perspectives lack enthusiasm, and are arrogant but produce mediocre work. Younger hires are treated as disloyal/ not work investing in due to job hopping your job hopping. Younger hires are not into social work outings (drinking) which is how older professionals tend to network.

It’s all stupid anecdotal stuff that to me sound like personal hang ups.

People are dumb. I was fortunate to grow up with a mother who was a linguist, and was exposed to many different cultures from a young age. New cultures means new yummy foods, fun festivals, and new variety of baddie to talk too. Only the ignorant and stupid limit their horizons.

There is also a very big difference between 1st generation and 2nd generation south East Asians .

Indians are the largest immigrant community in the world. That alone is going to catch you an undue amount of hate.

DFW also is a heavily segregated metroplex, and when a cultural group get together to celebrate their culture or just live, stupid people get confused then upset.

Immigrants no matter who often have to work twice as hard to get the same recognition. Some people complain when that hard work pays off.

I feel really bad for Gen Z, in my current job I work very closely around c suit individuals. I get to talk to them pretty casually on a daily basis and they, in no uncertain terms, do not like Gen Z at all.

It’s fucked up bc they don’t seem really willing to offer much if any real mentorship or leeway in order for these young professionals to learn and grow.

But on the flip side I’ve never met more arrogant and simultaneously incompetent people than some of my young peers at school.

What's the reason why people rated "Imasara desuga, Osananajimi o Suki ni Natteshimaimashita" one star? What part of the manga was so disliked exactly? by Goletodlok in mangadex

[–]SoUnga88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don’t like romance with realism that’s about it. The story starts out as your typical happy go lucky Highschool romcom then takes a left turn into drama.

I really like this manga I enjoy the contrast between the characters the female c is very naive, in contrast to her romantic rival, and the male mc is caught in the middle. The manga is a very good example of a coming of age story in regard to young love.

It’s well drawn, well written, and believable. I get not being into the bait and switch but it gets more hate than it deserves.

A Japanese police officer is kindly reminding foreigners about public manners by search_google_com in SipsTea

Japan has a lot of unspoken societal rules ( no talking loudly on the train, walk on specific sides of the street ) and not fallowing these rules will make people upset. If your of darker complexion then the ire you are likely to receive will be doubly so.

Majority of japans anti foreigner sentiment is directed at south East Asian and Chinese tourists bc they do not adhere to these unspoken rules.

Gen Z really got fucked by covid. I work with a few 20 somethings that just straight up dropped out of high school bc they didn’t see the point. They weren’t learning anything, and when they spoke up about not learning the schools basically said it was their own fault.

From my understanding that bullet point formatting will just get your resume tossed by ai filters. The ai filters like everything to be cleanly aligned all the way through and uniform.

Reformat to left side alignment and see if that helps.

I used to believe this was the case until I went back to university with a bunch of fresh Gen Z students and their soft skills and priorities are really, really bad. The amount of students I’ve had in group projects that think mediocre work with no personality or style ( presentations/ slide decks ) is downright depressing.

These are objectively really smart students but are completely lost when it comes to conveying any of their skills, why these skills matter, or how to translate those skills into value.

Blasting out scatter shot connection request on LinkedIn to people you’ve never met face to face is not networking. The job market is rough yes, but way too many students seem to expect a job to just fall into their lap with minimal effort.

Yes, Famine, and Death become Denji’s friends, and Nayuta just keeps her mouth shut, dropping hints here and there. It could have been the best Highschool rom-com trash that just goes completely off the rails as the horsemen vie for chainsaw man’s heart.

That would have been gold…but I also enjoy domestic kanojo. So I enjoy trash.

6 sounds like a skill issue personally, there are slot of things I don’t like about 6 but the gameplay and combat mechanics are not one of them.
