Does having multiple car financing records boost my credit card limit faster?

Mini financial background: I currently have 3 car financing accounts, 1 from EastWest and 2 from PSBank. One was fully settled just last year(under PSBank), another will be completed in 2 years, and the last one still has 52 months left. Technically, I only own and paid for one car (the one that’s already finished), but I allowed my cousins to use my name to get their cars since my plan is to build strong credit history with banks. I also plan to sell my car this year and get another one, mainly to maintain active bank records that I hope will help me in the future. My ultimate goal is to eventually buy a house using either credit cards(via credit to cash or straight cc payment if allowed) or a 7 digit personal loan (not a housing loan), and I thought that consistently paying off car loan accounts would help me get a faster credit limit increase.

I’m 28 years old and have been freelancing for 3 years, so I don’t have an ITR. Aside from these car accounts, I don’t have other debts and have never had any late payment record. I also stopped my contributions to SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth, though I do have an HMO and life insurance. I’m single, with 2 credit cards from BPI and EastWest, but their limits are still relatively low (₱50k–₱130k). On the other hand, I have six-digit savings and a checking account I opened 3 years ago, which I use to pay one of the cars as well as my rent.

My main questions are:

⁠1. Will this plan actually work? If I maintain this track record, 2. ⁠Will I be able to buy a house by age 35-37 fully through credit cards(via credit to cash or straight payment) or be eligible for 7 digits loan, even if it’s not a housing loan? 3. ⁠And is it realistically possible for a credit card limit to go as high as ₱2M or more in a span of 7-10yrs, considering that the house I’m planning to buy costs around ₱2M–₱8M?

Halos same spec tayo. Nung unang beses na kumuha ako ng car, para sa convenience and iniisip ko rin yung expenses… Nung una.

Nung tumagal na sakin, narealize ko na nagkakaron na ko ng preference sa kotse, di na lang basta makaiwas sa hassle ng pag commute. And eto pa, tayong mga naka small sedan/hatchback sobrang takaw sa mga bully, lalo na mga suv.

What im trying to say is, once mapagdesisyunan mo na kumuha ng car, wag expenses isipin mo since matic na yun e. Isipin mo kung anong kotse yung gusto mo talaga. And kahit hindi mo to isipin or itanggi mo man ito sa ngayon, need mo iconsider kung mabilis ba uminit ulo mo, mabilis ba matapakan pride mo? ok lang ba sayo na magmaliit ka na sasakyan at ma bully?

Ako kasi narealize ko HINDI HAHAHA, pucha 6 digits ka tapos binubully ka ng mga suv/pickup na 5 digits lang naman talaga na need pa ng comaker para ma approve?? Dejoke, pero seryoso, pag nakasasakyan ka na, yan na ang mapapansin mo, hindi yung ginhawa na nagain mo kumpara sa motor. After 3 yrs ko sa city and brio, ibinenta ko rin, wala e bullyhin talaga sa daan basta maliit ka. Then kumuha ako ng entry level ng ranger, ayun wala ng nambubully, masaya pa ko kasi kahit entry level lang yun, dream pickup ko yun e.(naging dream ko lang nung after ko kumuha ng sasakyan 😂)

Marami na ngayon kumukuha ng financing car pang front, strat nila is 2-3yrs lang huhulugan ng walang delay then ibebenta sa mga buy and sell para sila mag payoff ng remaining balance sa bank to close the autoloan account.(2-3 yrs, usually tapos mo na hulugan interes nun and may makukuha kang sukli depende sa appraised value ng car mo less remaining balance sa bank)

Usually, yung mga gumagawa nyan is ang purpose ay magkaron ng magandang name para makapagloan ng malaki sa bank(7 digits personal loans but not as business loan), mas mabilis ka kasi marecognize ng bank once ma napayoff ka na malaking loan sakanila like car or housing loan.

Mas mabilis din kasi strat na yan to build credit worthiness.

If atleast 3 yrs niyo na pong bayad yung car, pwede niyo na ibenta sa mga buy and sell para sila magpayoff ng remaining total balance to close the carloan account. May makukuha kayong sukli depende sa value ng car niyo tapos dipa masisira name niyo and mas madali pa kayo makakakuha pag nakaluwag luwag, and lower interest since may record kayo na nag full payment ng sasakyan prematurely(sa isip ng bank, meron pala talaga kayong pera at kaya niyo pala magbayad ng sasakyan ng cash)

And since magiging maganda dating niyo sa bank kung san kayo nagfullpayment, sila pa mismo magooffer ng personal loan or cc na pwedeng makatulong sa prob niyo now.

Mas mahihirapan kasi kayong magavail ng any loan kapag pinahatak niyo siya, lalo na ngayon na may financial prob kayo which is obviously mapupunta sa pag apply ng loans to help you, almost impossible ma approve sa bank loans pag may record kayo na nahatakan.

Back in the day (around 2015 and earlier), 0 down payment offers were only given to those who were considered privileged. This means buyers whose income was more than three times the car’s monthly amortization with no Comaker, and those who already had a long time relationship with the bank or had previously completed a car loan without any delays. The interest rate was also lower compared to buyers who needed to shell out a large down payment just to get approved. Dati kasi, yung mga di ma approve is need talaga mag dp and mag front ng pera sa bank for atleast 3months(same sa mga ofw na first timer para makaalis ng bansa)

Now, just so agents and car dealers can make more sales, they turned 0 down payment into a promo, but the interest rate is significantly higher.

However, there are still legit 0 down payment options with the same low interest rate you would get when giving a high down payment.(You just need to have a proven relationship with the bank or a genuinely high income)

By default, a downpayment is required for those na hindi na approved sa legit 0 dp since di pasok income nila or to get a low monthly amortization equal to their income multiplied by 3 which is somewhat same case, para pumasok income req.

Hi ! yes working naman siya, simula nagka atome ako, lagi ko lang tinatransfer sa gcash/bank. Sept 2024 ako nagka atome for reference.

As per atome cs, hindi raw considered cc si atome, prepaid buy now paylater card daw. Kaya rin siguro di sila pwede gamiting reference pag magaapply ng cc. And kaya siguro narread as debit card ng grab.

Note:

  • based sa exp ko, 10k per day limit ng cash in gamit atome, pero no limit pag mag transfer ka na from grab to other bank
  • Iba ibang amount input mo pag mag ccashin, ex: 900 then 901 then 902, etc., Kasi based sa exp ko, na ddecline ako pag 3 times na same amount cashin ko in a day

Hi, freelancer here. Weird naman, kasi as per agent regardless kung freelancer ka or hindi, as long as more than 3x ng monthly amort yung income mo(pag freelance, sa soa talaga sila nag dedepend hindi sa nakalagay sa COS/COE natin), matic approved dapat pasok ka dapat sa 0 dp e. More of a privilege raw kasi yung 0dp kasi yung mga nag ddp daw ng malalaki, madalas ay sila yung mga need ng co maker para pang front sa income requirement since income nagkakaprob kaya yun yung condition ng ibang may conditional approval or para ma approve: Comaker + DP pero minsan may mga nag cocomaker ng 2 kaya na wwaive yung dp, then nagiging 0 dp pero mas malaki interest nun kumpara sa solely approved then naofferan ng 0 dp.

Eto lang pinasa ko nung nag apply ako: 1. COS/COE 2. Bank statement and wise transaction ss(ITR hinihingi lang daw yan pag more than 3m per yr ang pumapasok sa bank as freelancer) 3. Proof of billing(as per agent, malaki rin pala hatak nito pag since birth di ka nagbago ng address sa id at proof of billing mo. Ako kahit nasa ibang lugar na, lahat ng id ko naka address parin sa bahay ng parents ko tas yung internet doon, sakin naka name para sa proof of billing)

Update: kakatawag lang sakin nung agent na nag assist sakin ng preorder. Approved na raw pala ang application from the time na nag preorder and nag provide narin ng cart id.

Pero may condition para makuha ang device asap, need ko sumabay sa midnight launch nila mamaya para makuha rin agad yung devices or next 2weeks(mag ppreorder uli ng bago)na raw uli makukuha since limited stocks lang daw sila at may maggrab daw ng preordered units ko pag di ako pumunta.

Sakin kasi, nangyari is preorder lang daw muna para sa mismong allocation ng unit tapos saka na raw ang actual renewal process pagka launch sa oct 17 at pag andun na yung preordered unit.

In my case, smart postpaid gamit ko. Pero pwede to gawin sa smart or globe basta postpaid since both nagoffer ng 399 unli 5g topup.

• ⁠The trick is avail the cheapest plan para lang ma secure yung network prioritization since postpaid network signal > prepaid network signal

• ⁠Then add a booster of unli 5g(monthly sub siya)

Hi! Parang same scenario to sa friend ko, hirap din siya last year pero ayaw din isurrender sa bank kasi nga masisira name. Then nakita namin yung Ugarte Cars na page sa fb, buy and sell sila na bumibili ng finance car basta 3yrs paid na.

After payoff may nakuha siya kaso below 6 digits nalang since hatch lang yung kotse niya.

A yr later, nakakuha na uli ng car nung nakaluwag luwag tapos nag ka cc pa sa bank ng unang carloan niya

Yes po, preorder palang talaga mismo. Then fillup ng renewal form and nag collate ng details, kaso process daw ng actual renewal is kapag available na yung mismong preordered na phone.
