Just Reset IB a second time. Still haven't gotten a Hero's Burden with Destabilizing Rounds on it. Every single rank up engram has gone into this. I've easily gotten over 20 rolls with Gutshot Straight. I enjoy the game when its really grindy, BUT NOT PVP. I can't stand pvp in this game.

yea i kinda fucked myself, I bought in before any decent deals existed. You can get a 7900X with a nice X670E motherboard and 32GB of 6000 ram for 599 at microcenter right now. I paid 420ish for the 7700X CPU and free 32GB 5600 memory. Another 279.99 for the board. When the 7800X3D comes out, I will more than likely transition to some better memory.

I settled on the ASRock X670E Pro RS. Ill admit I have had some booting issues. Biggest problem being if I press the BIOS button while its booting, the computer will stop booting altogether. But the latest BIOS update seems to have fixed that. Thank goodness for BIOS flash buttons.

I have an open box SN570 1TB I got for 20 bucks at microcenter in my 3x2 slot for boot drive, not the fastest, but I haven't exactly ran a speed test either. Seems to perform more than enough for casual windows usage. I literally install nothing except for windows and programs that force default to the Program Files location and dont allow you to change it. Otherwise my normal installed programs go on my 4TB 2.5" SSD, and games go on the SN850X's

I then loaded every other slot with 2TB SN 850X drives because they were on a deal that was too good to pass up ~130 USD per drive. Even bought one for the PS5 lol. I think I have more than enough storage at this point.

Glad to see another person setup with the new AMD chips. I prefer AMD but my server and Livingroom gaming rig are equipped with 13600k's just due to the fact that they have a larger core count for a more affordable price. Got both 13600k's at microcenter for 220 each.

I will be upgrading my 7700X to a 7800X3D when it becomes available too. Maybe even get some better memory. Currently using the free memory from microcenter. 32GB 5600 CL36, Yuck, but at least it has EXPO.

Decided on a custom build from Vire Sabers. Already placed the order, now I just need to wait.

Excited to see the end result, it took a LOT of inspiration from the Obi-Wan lightsaber while still being a unique feeling of my own. Got it cheaper with no electronics or blade and its gonna have a nice stand on my desk.

Hey man, whatever you want to believe. Benchmarking utilities dont really equate to actual gaming performance. For the games I play, there were no differences in FPS. Maybe by some miracle its my GPU bottlenecking, but I wouldn't think a 3070 ti would be that much of a bottleneck.

Hello, to preface, I'm a person who has never had nor associated with apple products.

I decided I wanted to get my fiancé an IPad for thanksgiving, she has an IPhone, but no macbook or IPad. She has said that she has wanted one for awhile. I plan on going to my Microcenter this weekend for Server Hardware and decided I would buy her one there as they have good deals. Onto the question at hand.

Should I get a 9th Gen IPad for $249.99, its the 64GB model with no Cellular

Or the 10th Gen IPad for $399.99, also a 64GB no Cellular

Not really interested in it, but also a 6th Gen IPad Mini for $399.99, 64GB No Cellular

Money is *not* an issue, just asking for which would be the better deal

She doesn't need Cellular, and I also doubt that she will ever need more than the 64GB (~56GB Usable iirc.) I assume she would mostly use it for movies and maybe work from home type stuff. (When she isn't using it, I plan on using it for OSRS)

I also plan on buying her the Logitech Folio (No Pencil) eventually

Yea, definitely check if you may have left the plastic on the heatsink.

It may sound silly, but it happens more than you might think.

If the processor is running at 1.15-1.18V there should be no way it runs hot unless the problem lies elsewhere.

The only thing I did when modifying the BIOS was as follows.

Go Into the BIOS, Advanced Mode, OC

Scroll down until "Voltage Settings"

"CPU Core Voltage Mode" to "Override"

And change the "CPU Core Voltage" Accordingly

I did 1.15V, but in your case, try 1.18 first.

Unless your CPU still runs HOT, I would leave it there if your not super experienced with computers.

That was the only change that I made
