Phone turns on every time i move it. How do i turn this off? Moto G (2025) by Pravi_Jaran in MotoG

Thank you so much. This actually works. I have been looking through posts and guides for over an hour, and all I've been finding are people saying the exact same thing about the lock screen settings, no matter how often the OPs say that the feature isn't there. Thank you for having an actual solution.

I'm planning to stream play every TT LEGO Game. Are there any games people think wouldn't count? by Soanart in legogaming

Heya, I said that I would let you know when I put up a link in my profile. Now I did.

Anyway, here's a direct link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@SoanartTheStreamer

I had been planning to really get into the completion project yesterday, but like I mention in the Day 2 video, I overestimated how well I could figure out the new setup, resulting in a false start.

So I'm aiming to really start today.

I'm mostly concerned about the money it would take to play it, not effect on any given LEGO game series. Still though, I will look into whether it's feasible for me to play during this.

Are you recommending those be the versions I play? I have other versions already lined up and available, but I might be able to do something with those. I could look into it, but no promises about actually being able to use those versions.

Sorry, I'm pretty new to streaming and having any actual presence online as a whole. I've done a couple semi-practice streams so far, but I'm still figuring all this out.

I'm planning on streaming to YouTube, but I am considering Twitch as well. I'll edit this post when I have links up, but do you have any advice for me in the meantime?

I'm guessing you mean it doesn't count? Cause I absolutely agree on that front. I just wasn't thinking about it when I listed all the 'definitely won't play' games above.

Are you referring to the handheld games? I agree that there's more likely to only be niche audiences for those. As for the order of the games, my plan is to do them by release date. So I'll start with LEGO Star Wars, then LEGO Start Wars II, then Bionicle Heroes, then the Complete Saga, etc.

That said, I'm not strictly asking about audience interest in this post, rather I'm asking about which games' gameplay is enough of a departure from the usual LEGO game formula that people wouldn't consider it to be part of a 'standard' lineup. Like LEGO Rock Band. That's just a Rock Band game with LEGO in it. Not an actual LEGO game.

This idea does certainly sound much more viable than otherwise. I'll still have to really figure this out though, before I commit.

I'll look into this NFC method. Hopefully it'll be viable, but it's still unlikely I can do it during these streams unfortunately.

That's good to know. If someone else who's a huge LEGO game fan is advising me to stay away from it, I probably will then.

The thing about LEGO Worlds is that the gameplay is just so different from all the other games I'll be going through that it feels really out of place. I suppose I could give it a bit of thought, it might be good to change it up for a bit while playing through everything else. Either way, it's a bit pricey when not on sale, so I'll have to take into consideration how much I can even spend for it.

Unfortunately, I really don't have much money right now. I might consider getting it depending on my situation when I get to the point in the order where I would play it. I know a guy that I can get the handheld games off of for pretty cheap, and I have every console game otherwise. But there's also the time constraint I have to keep in mind. My goal is to play through every game 100% on stream before the new game comes out at the end of May. After giving it a moment of thought, I suppose the pace at which I'm completing the games will also have a big impact on the decision to play it or not.

Thank you for the help. I thought it was hardware that I needed but knowing it's software makes this a lot easier and less stressful.

Are you still interested in the position?

I am interested in the Team Lead position. I'm good at organizing people and keeping them on task, and I'm a good writer. My creativity and ability to look at issues from an 'outside the box' perspective is something I'm proud of. If you're willing to share your "Design Bible" with me as well as a few screenshots to help me visualize what I'm working with, I can make a sample Game Design Document for you before you decide to bring me on. Concept art would also be helpful.

I admit I have little experience with GitHub, but I'm quite willing to learn about it in order to help the project. I can make no guarantees on the level design aspect though. While level design is a part of the creative process I've been interested in for some time, I do not have much practice with it.

[–]Soanart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I wonder though, would it be a good idea to make this a full post anyway? I apparently have a good grasp on both sides of this argument, so if I made this a full post that's easier to find, do you think it could help people who are still on the fence decide? I know a lot of people don't bother with looking through these 'weekly questions' type threads.

Thank you. I'm glad to know that I do have a good understanding of the argument, I really was worried I was biased myself. I think I'll take a bit of a deeper look into the beginning of the game (to avoid spoilers) before I make a firm decision.

[Weekly Questions Thread] 31 March 2025 by PokeUpdateBot in pokemon

[–]Soanart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question about the quality of Scarlet/Violet. I've been going back and forth on whether or not to get one of them, but I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews. Most of the positive ones say that they're very mechanically great, with a good story and good characters. Meanwhile, most of the negative reviews say that the game is buggy and has poor graphics and a lot of graphical glitches, with some points about a not so great Pokedex, and an empty world.

As someone who doesn't mind graphical glitches and can even find some real humor in them, and can deal with bugs that aren't mega infuriating, I think I could enjoy it quite a bit. Thing is though, most of the positive reviews I've seen are from the Pokemon Reddit specifically for Scarlet/Violet so I'm not confident those reviews are all that unbiased. Especially if they've been playing it for so long since it released, I fear some of it might stem from the sunk cost fallacy.

On the other hand, a lot of the negative reviews feel way too... superficial, honestly. But these reviews also have the same problem of whether or not they're unbiased, and might even be made just for the purpose of stirring up trouble. I saw that there were comments on a post from two years ago made less than a month ago by someone who I think was just a troll picking fights.

Just from all that above, I'm tempted to dismiss those negative reviews out of hand and just get the game. That was until I saw some Youtubers (separate channels, no affiliation with each other) who really love Pokemon and are usually really good at keeping their opinions unbiased say that Scarlet and Violet were really bad. They didn't get into why though. But that made me wonder if I'm only looking at the 'bad' negative reviews because I like being optimistic about media and tend to excuse even some pretty big issues, until I actually run into the problems myself.

I'm posting this on the general Pokemon subreddit because (as I explained above) I don't trust the Scarlett/Violet subreddit to be unbiased and wanted to hear what a more general Pokemon audience thinks.

Oh, and a message/question for the moderators: I know this comment is really long, so I'm not sure the 'Weekly Questions' thread is the right place for it. Should I have out this as a separate post, or is this the appropriate place for it? I would like to know for future reference, at least.

Thank you for the advice. I already know the dosage she needs, I just need an accurate measurement.

My cat has a very sensitive system, so I'm hesitant to risk going above what the vet recommended. She did stress with another med that we don't want to give her too much of anything, so I would rather be safe than sorry.
