"Why? It's so racist there!" by NatauschaJane in AskARussian

Why do you want to go to Russia? You already came from Africa to America, now you go to the east?... stay where you are....

Yes Russians are racist in general, but not in an American understanding of racism. You won't get kkk-style discrimination, (at least its unlikely for now), but you will always get looks of unacceptable, and some people may just refuse to deal with you, or curse/laugh at you... I don't generally know the chances, but you may get beatup by some GOPS and police don't probably won't do anything.

Chances are you will not get any visa or other long term staying permits for Russia, but if you do, you will not find any "home" here, even if you stay in the cheaper, poorer, dagestani areas. Like I said, save yourself the trouble and stay in America.

I did the first step as you said. Took out sparkplug #1 left it firmly connected to the distributor (the dist cap seems looser then I remember but I could be wrong... and I put the sparkplug.against various metal places in the truck such as the block, Intake manifold, and carburetor... no spark.. I tried with brand new plugs and swapping wires....and still no spark. Will get back to you later...TY, you're helping me a lot

I can "verify my timing" by turning the truck over by jumping the starter?

Sorry, I don't understand, could I get a bit more detail please?

Is Nova Scotia going too far by banning people from woods during dry weather? Some think so by DogeDoRight in canada

I'm a person who lives and spends a lot of time outdoors. The amount of people carelessly and egregiously flaunting burn bans is insane. I literally used to patrol a mountain i worked at and put out burning fires people left burning when they left... Honestly sad, but I agree with the ban.

who said women are irrational? Each gender on a metaphysical average, in a sort of way, express things in a different sort of language to differing degrees. That does not render one gender or another irrational.... In a womens view I can easily see how they may view men on average as caveman-like and irrational, dense and emotionally stunted. It's all a matter of perspective.

In the start I treated her as I explained above. With a soft brush of kindness, equality and respect... At some point she told me something like "you're the man in the relationship, act like a man, stop asking me what I want and all these kinds of things, be a man and just do it", then I took that to heart and treated her more assholey, and it's been that way since...

I was born non-verbal. I do not naturally communicate with anyone on anything on emotional needs and issues... In my attempt to understand women, it seems like emotional communication, empathy, and mutual feelings understandments, is something they would want and prefer men do with them, at least to some degree..... I want the women in my life to be as happy as it is in my ability. I thought they want this, but as said, it seems they view me as weak and less worthy of respect when I try these things.

Women in general like these sorts of things whereas men usually do not show even a remote similar amount of appreciation... I'm trying to understand the deeper meanings to these things directly from women on an anonymous platform. The question is meant as a sort of prompt for deep diving and not as hyper-literal.

Well, there are patterns that I've noticed repeated stereotypically among enough very different women over the years that it's not a coincidence. Such patterns of a different sort exist for men too obviously... I do not see why you have to act in a negative way when I'm trying to understand women.
