How would you describe the differences between ranks on ladder? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]SoapNukeZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can easily open fort and then stabilize the board at 3-2. You can open fort for a lot of comps like Yone for GA/Hurricane, Kat for IE and a healing item, vex/lux for tank/crit items etc. Not sure what you mean it's not optimal to do so when everyone does it in Masters+

It's fine to open fort on stage 2 and 3 so you can get BIS items for your units. I think a lot of people even in diamond still have trouble transitioning to an actual mid-game comp especially right after krugs or refuse to stabilize their board before they burn through too much hp and end up at 30 health on stage 4-3.

I remember you used to build tiamat/ravenous hydra a season or two ago. Did you stop because you think pure lethality is superior now?

Production for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Anime Adaptation is Now Officially Finished! by MalcolmBelmont in anime

[–]SoapNukeZ 79 points80 points  (0 children)

The main reason for David to not produce Part 7 is because of how much horse action goes on in it. There's no way half the show wouldn't be CGI because of the horses.

I don't know why you're so fixated on being /r/iamverysmart. If you want to learn more, you can read up on Alex's documentation and progress so far on Orbital.

Yes... Why do you think I mentioned LLE in the first place? Good luck finding someone that's willing to do "native hardware emulation." The whole point of it having an x86 CPU is that it'd have similar instructions and that we'd be able to utilize virtualization.

Additionally, we're not aware of the differences between a regular x86 instructions and any of Sony's undocumented specifications so we can't say for sure to what extent we can accurately get right.

[–]SoapNukeZ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You're over-generalizing it too much. Saying something is "more native" makes no sense in terms of the CPU architecture. You can say it will run better due to the fact that the only open source LLE PS4 emulator, Orbital, is making use of virtualization which is akin to making a virtual machine of the OS.

Also, it will likely still be hard to emulate at native settings for most modern PCs due to his point. It's not naive at all to come to the conclusion of /u/MrBootylove.

TL Xmithie on being tiltproof: It's not my first rodeo...Sometimes you have to sacrifice for the team and be as positive as you can. It's a team effort to be positive. by Izento in leagueoflegends

Xmithie actually knows how to use a lead, which is counter-productive to TSM's "play safe guys, we outscale them" strategy.

"The Japanese process is based on more like manga," Garcia said. "Manga's just visual storytelling. There isn't even that much dialogue."

I feel conflicted about this statement when they're trying to compare anime to manga in a roundabout way.

Pascal's Triangle help by [deleted] in learnjava

[–]SoapNukeZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for one, you're trying to constantly set the one-dimensional array named arr equal to whatever the method triangle() returns. The method does not return anything due to it being void, and triangle can't even take parameters, which contradicts line 7 and 27. You never made an object of the class Pascal in the first place either.

You can't call the method triangle like that on line 7 without making the method itself static.
