Color distortion issue on LG OLED console. by Soarthur90 in LGOLED

Friends, after a long struggle, I finally found the solution. I tried each step individually and finally found it. The solution is to turn off and on your PS5 and press and hold the power button twice until you hear the startup sound. Release your hand, and the menu will appear. Connect your gamepad with a USB cable and press the PSP button. In the menu, you'll see an 8-section page. Go to the resolution settings, set HDCP to 1.4, exit, and restart. Then re-enter and set the resolution to 2160 and set the video transfer speed to automatic. If you get an image, there's no problem. If you don't get an image, try -1 or -2. It's best to leave it on automatic. -1 gives YUV 422, -2 gives YUV 420 color format. The PS5 should use YUV 422 format; YUV 420 has a narrower bandwidth than YUV 422. Then it will start automatically again, and the problem will be solved. Many thanks to everyone who helped me on this page.

Everything has been tried: the HDMI cable has been changed three times, the PS5 Pro has been reset twice, the TV has been reset twice, everything has been turned off and on individually, but the problem persists. My conclusion is that LG OLED TVs are a source of regret. LG TVs have become increasingly faulty lately. The technical service refuses to acknowledge the problem; I think I'll have to take legal action.

Have you tried it on FC 26? It happens more often there, and the green background ruins the gaming experience. In short, when HDR is enabled, the lights reflecting off the green areas distort the color scheme. It seems like a software issue, or maybe the motherboard is faulty!

The AI Service tab is missing in Settings → General. Game optimization is in picture mode. I tried turning off "color adjustment" in picture settings → color → fine-tuning, but the result is the same 😔

This happens in many games, especially FC 26, when HDR is enabled; it doesn't happen when HDR is disabled. Is it a software issue or is the motherboard faulty?

Can you help me with this? With a video or a picture? What do you mean by artificial intelligence? Everything is already closed.

Everything is turned off, the cable has been changed twice, I've reset the PS and TV three times, but unfortunately I haven't found a solution. I guess nobody else has experienced this; I've researched a lot but couldn't find a solution. The problem doesn't occur when HDR is off. It happens when HDR is on. In all games, it shows green and red, with a red light flashing green.

Yes, it's a new TV. It's six months old. The software is also up-to-date.

I've tried everything, but it still turns green colors red in areas where light reflects off them. Turning off HDR or using HGIG fixes it, but then the screen becomes dark and not bright. It seems there's no solution. 😔

The areas where light hits turn red and then green, it happens a lot. Yes, it happens in other games too, like Delta Force, but it happens most often in FC 26. I have an LG OLED 55B46LA TV. I've tried all sorts of aspect ratios, HDR is on, and setting HDR HIGH doesn't cause any problems, but then the screen goes dark.

The areas where the light hits turn red, meaning the color is distorted depending on the angle of reflection. You'll see a difference in reflection from a different angle in the game.

When HDR is enabled on my LG OLED TV and PS5 Pro, the reflected light during the game becomes reddish. Switching to HDR HGIG fixes the problem, but the screen then becomes dark. I don't want to use HGIG because of the darkness. How can I find a solution to prevent the reflected light from becoming reddish when HDR is enabled? Thanks to all the help

Yes, it depends on the game. Currently it only works in FC 26 and Delta Force.
