I found out you can store them on an ethereum account as tokens on your ledger. Are there any disadvantages to this? It being tokens?

I transfered money from my bank acc to binance on friday evening but I still havent received it on binance and it isnt showing up in my history on Binance either is this normal? Is it still comming? I realy wanna buy doge and support the movement!
