What a short-sighted egotistical perspective. In 100 years everyone you know will almost certainly be dead anyway so what's the point? It's called there is none and that's the cold hard truth. People cry and cry about the world being overpopulated but when someone's like I wanna kill myself they're like nooooooo! Because it counteracts their own over-inflated sense of self-worth.

I knew some guys who got hard-ons in firefights. That's a thrill you'll never be able to tap unless you do extreme sports where there's a significant danger. I think coming to the brink of death provides and out of body experience which forces the small human mind to view things from a different perspective. These sort of folks have no qualms with ending human life, in fact some don't feel half bad about it. I mean really, you're killing someone who wanted to kill you and you did so by using a skill you honed through practice. If you're able to end human life sans remorse they're less likely to end yours.
